Maxair broken down???

I know there is more than two Giant Frisbee made by Huss. Nagashima Spaland in Japan has one, and I'm sure there's another somewhere.

Even if you double it to four, it still makes no sense for Huss to have spare parts pre manufactured.

Is MAXAIR going to be runing for open weekend????????????

To answer your multiple question marked question, yes, maXair will be open for opening weekend.

I think that maxair WILL be open because I think i remember a blog saying something along the lines of Maxair being down and it will be back up for the 2008 season...

maXair is scheduled to be open May 10.

Anyone know what's wrong with maxair this year? I've been there 3 times and don't think it ever ran yet

A part for the motor. Cedar Point isn't the only one havingproblemswith HUSS. Dollywood is currently in a heated contract issueover theirtopple tower. HUSS never has parts ready for back up andtakes foreverto send new ones to the parks. Atleast thats what I haveheard.

EDIT: I do not know why my computer has been doing this lately, butevery post I make it combines words. I always go back to edit the postand after I fix the problem it still gets rid of a space between words.Please just ignore it, it is not my doing.

Yeah seems like buying a Huss giant turned out to be a really bad idea. All of them seem to go down for weeks at a time every year.

When I was there last weekend I saw that there was a part(panel) off of the motor. I do enjoy that ride and hope it starts running. My oldest son is now tall enough to ride and I was hoping. I guess we shall wait.

It seems maXair goes through this motor part issue almost every year. Wish I knew if this was the same part they were waiting on to be fabricated before the start of the '08 season. Last I knew of the Dollywood situation, they were pursuing litigation, or were about to head down that road, over their Topple Tower.

At the park today there was 4 mechanics working on the top of the seats, hopefully soon it will b ready :)

Well today is technically May 30th, which would make it a week since Raptor Maniac noticed what he saw last week. Has anybody else noticed anything going on with MaXair? Hopefully it opens around the same time Windseeker opens.

while enjoying lunch yesterday, we watched about 4 test runs on MaXair and then a man walked up to the top. We also saw the arm lights on Windseeker. It is a very pretty lawn orniment as of now.

Hopefully that's a great sign, i'll be at the park Wednesday and I really want to ride it cause it's my favorite non coaster ride there
