Maverick Trains

Let me know when you get to diff-eq. ;)

Brandon

I'm in Diff Eq right now. I get my first test back tomorrow and I am excited because I'm pretty sure I did good!

On topic, I also don't understand the "rust" colored track. To me it looks just as red as everyother ride at CP.

^^ For me this was 9th grade math. I learned right triangle trig in geometry. *** Edited 10/2/2006 2:13:20 AM UTC by @webber***

Well, red is a good color, and so long as its not the exact color of Maggie/TTD/ID, they can call it whatever they want.

^ Yeah, especially since it's not orange, so there's no way it could be the same color as Magnum. :)

Magnum isn't orange. Its moly orange. There's a difference, ya' know! :)

Brandon

Does anyone think the word "Maverick" is going to be put on the trains? I know that the pictures don't show the name, so I was wondering.

The year 2000 poster of an artist's rendering of MF shows the front of the train with nothing, but it now says Millennium Force so I'm sure Maverick will.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

I wonder when we will se pictures of them?=.

Probably not for a few months yet at least.

Thrills Around the Corner!

Well the trains could arrive, but they would be sitting in next to one of Cedar Points other 16 coaster trains that are sitting outside the track this time of year.

I would think they'd put them on the transfer.....though I dont think they'll be comming anytime soon. Probably not till after Christmas, or when they're near the stations completion (which wont be for a while).

That's it, they should be Intamin's Chirstmas present to Cedar Point! ;)

^When was the last time you paid for a present?

With the track work being done so early, I'm sure they'll waste little time to get a pull through test done ASAP. For the trains being put on before the New Year is not likely when you look back at any coaster construction in the midwest.

Heh, fine, the present is them arriving quicker than planned. Happy? :)

To be honest, I'd like to have some communication with the manufacturer so I could have the right equipment and workers there to get the trains put where they are needed. Surprises that cost that much money are not good things.

Of course, I'm just giving you a hard time about this. ;)

They won't do a pull-through until all the rock work is done. Wouldn't make sense to do the pull through only to find that one of the rocks doesn't meet the clearance spec.

Goodbye MrScott

John

Who says the trains (at least a few of them) aren't already on site? ;) *** Edited 11/9/2006 8:16:17 PM UTC by LustyLil***

I heard on closing day that a "pull through" was already done, but there will be another one once the scenery is finished. I was told it was for track alignment....or something like that.

I also heard that Monty wasnt to happy that it wasnt put on the website.:)

What'd they use to "pull-through" the circuit?
