I can't remember a year in the past when there has been not one, but two areas of land in the park which are "ready for redevelopment" like there are this year (Challenge Park and Shoot the Rapids site). It seems like even if they did announce something like a better log flume to replace Shoot the Rapids, there will be an angry mob picketing at the Mean Streak entrance.

If the announcement is that MS is permanently closing, I want dibs on first chainsaw. I can't wait to see that eyesore disappear.
Okay, I can agree that MS isn't the best ride ever, but it is not an eyesore. I personally think it's one of the most beautiful coasters at CP and has amazing photo opportunities.

Uh... no, any ethical company doesn't give their customers crap. Stay off the speculation thread if you don't like hearing people voice their opinions.
In the opinion of some enthusiasts, Mean Streak is crap. Some enthusiasts also have specific cars and seats they will ride in on various coasters. Most people who visit parks and ride coasters are nowhere near as picky as enthusiasts.
And I don't get to express my opinion on a thread where people are voicing their opinions? Huh. Interesting.
