Live Web Cams

So that we can't see the construction of the new ride. I said hopefully...

But they could just turn the cameras somewhere else. And you could see the construction site going up the lift on Rougarou.

This has happened before.
I don't remember such a panic over it, though.
I seem to remember it was completely redone when it came back, so maybe there's better in store.
I can only get the still shots anyway, so no biggie for me.

They have had issues with the cameras recently, I would say it is better to remove that section of the website than to have a link to a page with non-functioning cameras.

I don't care what rides are running or whatnot, but I wanted to see if it's pouring down rain on point before I decide to head up there or not later. :)

^ ditto! The webcams would really help me in choosing whether or not to go today. For now I'm waiting the rain out and may go up this afternoon.

Is all the world's weather radar broken?

No, I'm watching the radars. But the cams can tell me what's running and what's not.

Going by this radar, I think it will clear up by this afternoon.

Jeff, I know you know as well as anyone here that the weather in Sandusky and the weather on Point are vastly different. It can be pouring buckets in Sandusky, but sunny on the midway, or vice versa.

I'm not going to risk downpours all day, so I'm just going to find a brewery :)

Does anyone have any web cam links for the Sandusky area, possibly at Kelly's Island/Put-in-Bay or even a camera pointed at Cedar Point from the mainland?

These still cams never stopped being live, and they even keep moving them around.

Interesting that they are still turning the cams, but took them off the website. I would guess they are doing some internal testing.

Wow, I love the zoom up on TTD on cam three. Crazy how the red is looking very pink these days.

Perhaps the camera quality just makes it look that way? I wouldn't know; I haven't paid attention to the colors of TTD's trains.

I think he was referring to the track color. It's faded over the years.

The cams are back up, but it says camera 1 is still not available. Also, do not click on the still image to get the live feed, it will take you back to the homepage. Click on the button under it that says Live Stream.

Clicking live still image didn't take me back to the homepage.

Sorry, I meant so not click on the actual picture that's on the page. It used to take you to the live stream, but now it takes you to the homepage.
