I wounder why the Dragster cam isn't back yet? the rides breakers are on today. The thing about bandwidth issues, well there are other live feed web cams on the internet that are high traffic, some times there working great, other times there not. I would prefer to watch a live feed, not a cam that updates every 30 seconds.

I have never been to CP on opening day, but it is kind of a tradition to watch the webcams for a while on opening day each year. Here are the ones that I like to use:

I still have hope that they will reconnect the Cleveland Cam(Live) & (Stills) this year. Last year I e-mailed them about it and they said it would not be available for 2008. Then a week or two later, it magically started working again. :)

The Funcam has good colors & updates every second or two. ***Most of the presets seem to be broken right now, so I suggest manually panning.*** (EDIT: Skyhawk takes you to Maverick & Mean Streak)

The Regsiter Cam has worse colors than the Funcam, but it updates at least once per second and imo it is easier to control.
(Use your scroll wheel for zoom and click in the direction you want the camera to pan.)
***Please enjoy the view if it is already pointing at CP coasters. There does not appear to be a queue like the Funcoast cam has, so if multiple people are panning & zooming at the same time it can turn into a camera war.***

I didn't know there was another cam like Funcam, and I just say my first roll back on Dragster 4:05pm. :)

Hay, does anyone know how to zoom in and out with the Sandusky Registercam?

If you have one of those things in the middle of the mouse, you click on the webcam pic and zoom in using that thing rolling it up and down.

Do you mean a the scroll wheel? I just tried that didn't work. It just makes the page go up and down. I used both left and right click, didn't do anything.

Yeah the scroll wheel. Your page goes up and down, because you are probably not clicking on the webcam pic before doing it.

You cant control the register cam. The funcam is the one one you can control.

You CAN control the register cam. I was controlling it earlier.

I did do that, left click and hold it down, then I use the scroll wheel. Nothing happens.

Don't hold the left click. Just left click once, then after that click you can use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out & also you can click within the image in the direction that you want to pan.

I see now it doesn't work in FireFox, works in Internet Explorer.

There is a live web cam it's called sanduskyregister.com you can move it around just by clicking any were on the cam.

There is a (Live Video Cam) button now on Cedar Point's Website, but at the moment it doesn't work for me. :( Wonder if they are about to add it to the site soon.
