Why would they put it here? There are way better places that they could have put this.
If they point that streaming cam at the construction this winter, this development will have serious health implications for me.

I suspect your tune will change once Project 2013 demolition and construction begins.

Haha obviously, I thought you meant that once the construction started that view would seem more relevant. Do you think they will put that live stream camera on the construction or another cam?
I personally look forward to seeing live video of the construction guy peeing against the wall instead of having to settle for the still frame of the event.
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
I'm not sure that is the kind of "live stream" the park would be intending with this camera. :)
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
I'm not trying to be rude or anything but who is "Mr. Scott"? I'm generally new to Point Buzz and I was just wondering...
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair
He was a friendly man who posted he regularly. One day, a new topic was started by him by some one else explaining that he had died and that we were all his friends. At least that's how I remember it. It was a long time ago.
Let's Get Weird.
Mr. Scott? Not only did he post regularly, but he also the longest running mayor of Lighthouse Point. :)
Mr. Scott passed away during the construction of Maverick (and he correctly guessed that the ride would indeed involve water in some way).
If memory serves me correctly, someone (I do not know if they post here or not) actually rode with some of Mr. Scott's ashes on one of the auction rides for Maverick.
Never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but when he posted, you always checked just to see what he would have to say about anything.
Promoter of fog.
I'm pretty sure it was Mr. Scott's brother who carried his ashes for his farewell voyage on Maverick.

Additional information can be found in this thread. In his memory, the PointBuzz community raised more than $2,300 for the Red Cross as part of the Maverick VIP Ride event. I know I have photos, but I can't seem to find them in the gallery.
I can see the eventual usage of the live video cam for rumored construction in the area, but for the time being, I don't see why they can't just pan the image a little to the left. It would give us or visitors to the site more to look at.
No, that's from media day.
^You would think it get sick of being jolted around non-stop. Guess spiders don't care, haha. Hopefully it finds a new home away from all webcams soon.
