Most definitely. I would love to see a new view. Maybe on top of Raptor's lift hill facing approximately Wicked Twister. A lot of action in that area. Also, it would be nice for some of the natural park audio.

The first time I saw the new cam it was interesting...after the first 30 seconds it lost its appeal to me. I agree it should be moved unless it's replaced with a live cam. That view off of Raptor could be cool, but I think they should add a second cam to dragster, exept facing it backwards, the opposite direction of the existing one. That way you'd have a view of the front and back of the park from that amazing vantage point.

EDIT: Personally I want webcams to be facing something that you can't really see if you go to the park. Something that gives a different perspective or view, which is why I love the Dragster cam so much. But at the same time it needs to be pointed at an area with lots of activity. So my two requirements for a great cam is that it has to give a view of something not really seen before, and it has to show action and exciting things.

We need the pagoda cam back showing the main midway,always was lots of action there,this cam on hotel breakers showing dragster is sooo useless to me.

A live cam showing MaXair and Raptor would definitely be fun to watch; maybe set up somewhere around Windseeker. Lots of crowd and activity in that area.

A live webcam in the station of a coaster would be nice

While they're at it, maybe they could just stream their entire network of park security cameras to the web.

I think the cam on top of Breakers would be better off pointing down the boardwalk towards Wicked Twister and Windseeker. If I remember correctly there used to be one there in the years before they got the new Stardot webcams. I'm thinking it was turned to a very similar view that it's currently in for the construction of Dragster, and then removed some time after Dragster opened.

The location of the Breakers cam has been done before. They also had one on Breakers Tower that did look down the boardwalk towards Wicked Twister. Anyone remember the location of the first webcam? I think I still have a saved pic of it somewhere. :)

I was just thinking that I have some saved pics somewhere from when the webcam was in the same spot 10 years ago during Dragster construction.

Chuck Wagon, Thanks for those memories, I can't explain it but when I saw the photo of Dragster Construction, I remembered a "Autumn- Smell", and many memories watching it being constructed. :) Weird

I don't know how big these cameras are, but i think it would be cool if they attached a live camera to one of the Windseeker arms. That way, we could see the park midway, then we would see the whole area once the ride starts.

Yeah those old webcam shots remind me of how awe-inspiring the construction of Dragster was. And then came the reality of only getting to ride it 1 out of 5 times you got in line in 2003. :)

The current location of the webcam does serve one purpose. It proves that the water effects on Maverick are working dispite of the lack of proper maintenance of other animatronic hardware and lighting elsewhere in the park.

Now if we could only get a Web-Mic of the current music being played in the park...

Going along with you Steve, I love the new live location, it's great to see that Maverick's water effects are working.

I just happened to click on the live webcam and saw both Millennium Force crest the lift hill and Maverick shoot through the "canyon"!

i wish they still had the STR cam up
