Live web cam?

I would post a comment but I'm watching the Diamondback webcam instead.

Anyone know what happened to the Cleveland Cam, From Cedar Point, that was live, seems to have dissapeared, will it be back?

I think they take it down every year during the off season. It should be back this year again, but I don't know because isn't the Pagada Cam in its place now?

Ok, cams I have watched (albeit it not all day):

Cams in the African Safari (facing watering holes)

Shamu Cam

Disney Cam (though I don't think they exist anymore)

Cleveland Traffic cams (so I can see how much snow you all have and laugh my head off)

The Cedar Point cam (just to see what the weather looks like...and to see the park once in a while when I'm feeling homesick)

Panda Cam (when the little baby was born)

I think those are the only ones I can really mention.

When Diamondback was being built I watched that a lot. Other than that they aren't exciting unless a 21 million dollar ride is being built.

You have a new level of nerd if you sit there and stare at a camera ofthe park. Like really? Do you go to the park and call your friends backhome and tell them to look on the camera as you wave it so they cansave the picture to?

That was my one post for this season for now...see you guys in the fall.

Hi Zeek,

Clearly you are the coolest person on here and too cool for this site (as you noted you rarely contribute). Can I be cool enough to see you in the fall?

I don't wave at the camera to say hi to my friends. Do you? I am sure you are too cool for your friends. Thanks for the useful post to show us all what we can aspire to be.

I'm going out to get some air.

On June 9th I will be there at noon waving on the pagoda cam!!! I expect everyone to be waving back. I will be like Miss Molly looking in the mirror and you can all be the people watching tv. So when I'm waving, I will be waving at all of you!! Yup, I'm a big dorky nerd, but I'm happy. There is no shame in enjoying what you do! don't be repressed by the cool kids anymore!!!

I thought it was cool to be a nerd now and I certainly thought it was cool on here to be a coaster nerd. So confusing...

Ah the internet at its finest.

Nerds calling out nerds for being even bigger nerds.

It's like brothas killings brothas.

Can't we all just get along?

Promoter of fog.

I want webcams so I can be on my G1 in line and see what the crowds are like in other parts of the park.

You're a real bastard and I don't think we can be friends anymore!

Nothing will ever beat this Web cam shot. Ever.

I know everyone wants a live cam, but we'll certainly have major bandwidth issues if we activate one. The main reason why we have static cameras isn't because we can't have live cams - it's because of bandwidth. And as you know, the cams are VERY popular.

Impossible to do? No. A high priority at this time? No. However, it may be something we pursue when we're comfortable with both the equipment that's available, and overcoming those pesky bandwidth concerns.

Come on, tell Richard to get you guys off Dial-Up and install a SONET 2.5G or larger in the park that is dedicated to web cams. :)

^ But haven't you seen those NetZero commercials? You can save BIG MONEY by switching from broadband to dialup (and with no downside, according to them)! :)

What's this? Dial-up still exist? And you say people still use dial-up? Woah. What's wrong with those people? :o

Come on, Tony. Aren't we and the webcams a priority over there? ;)

Guilty as charged. Weren't you over in the Ft Myers area recently Jeff? You know how nice it is down here.

Of course, you don't have to put shutters up for hurricane season so the grass is always greener. (Just happens to be greener hear year 'round.)

I would have to agree with the Panda Cam. I probably had an addiction to that at one point.

Yeah, we got married in Ft. Myers last month. We know. It's awesome. If we can sell Diana's house, we're so moving.

Houses are a steal right now in Ft Myers/Cape Coral. I believe they have the highest foreclosure rate in the nation right now.

Of course, it is a heck of a ride to the nearest roller coaster.

I was over on Ft Myers Beach two weekends ago and it was beautiful. There is Florida...and there is Southwest Florida. No comparison if you ask me.

I have been to the SW portion of Florida three times the past year on vacation. One time was in Ft Myers and I liked it. I still miss the coral reefs that lack in the Gulf. However the SE and Keys side has no comparison to the Belize and Honduras area reef (if you are in to that).

I would definitely move SW over any other area due to the laid back attitude of the area. Lauderdale and Miami are too crazy... I liked them in my college club day., but not as much now. I got to see Manson and the Spooky Kids there, before they became mainstream and lost real originality (if you like that kind of music, most don't though). The original guitar player (Scott P) is a graduate of one of the schools that the company I work for operates in the area.

Oh, and sorry for my pointless raint. I just like to talk about the area and jump on any chance of it...

Ok I have a question. Is the funcoast cam working for anyone? It's not working for me. It just has an X in the top left corner. It says it is up and running, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone might know the problem I am having??
