Right, because everyone knows that there is no good music older than what your average 18 year old likes. Duh!
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
We had Beatlemania in our home a couple years ago because I showed a couple of Beatles movies. That's all my kids wanted to hear, the whole spectrum. My 13 year old has a lot of classic rock songs on his phone. I don't try to sway him with it either.

As a kid I was constantly into my parents' records and now one of my kids is the same with my records, CDs and my old ipod. I make a point of exposing them both to a wide variety of stuff so they won't just listen to whatever the other kids in school do and assume that's all there is. So far this year he hasn't been impressed with the Fun TV music either and was making fun of one of the videos Tuesday in line for Magnum. He is listening to a pretty wide variety of stuff on his own for 12. Friday night he was bugging me wanting to know if we had any Aerosmith CDs and what order my collection is in so he could find stuff himself.
They must have known I was coming yesterday because they put on ABBA Take a Chance in the MF line, Get Ready for This in Mine Ride line, and Rock the Boat in Gemini line. Lines were pretty short yesterday with the usual exception of Maverick at 45 min.
The only down side is they played in the midway by Luminosity that Take me to Church song and How to Save a Life, both real downers for songs to hear at an amusement park.
Nothing was overly loud it seems.

Things were loud in Soak City today. Not as much the oveall park but at the wave pool they were cranking that speaker to its limits. It was actually uncomfortable to listen to and hard to talk to the person next to you.
