Before I get off here and go to bed I wanted to let you all know what my hubby heard. He just said they announced on the radio earlier that the announcement will be at 3:30 in the morning. Just in case that helps any of you staying up all night.

Can't wait till tomorrow!

Nothing is more priceless than seeing the face of my 9 year old daughter the first time she ever rode a big roller coaster.

OMG they ANNOUNCED it!!!!!

Cedarpoint.com folks... check it outtttttt!!!

Turns out the current construction is just a big hoax. They'll be tearing all that down and ripping out TTD an putting in a new 700 footer!!!

hehe... did i get anybody??? eh? eh?????? ;)

OMG!1!1!!11!! I fell for it!

uh, no.

However you may have accurately predicted the reaction of every dufus who will claim the announcement is just a decoy while they build a 500 foot coaster.

Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point

Ahaaa..... yeah.

If there's one thing I really can't expect after tomorrow, it's people who are going to deny the actual announcement from Cedar Point. That would be pretty sad though.

As sad as it is, you know that somebody, somewhere, is going to do that;)

Of course. Cedar Point HAS to build another world record tallest fastest coaster. They CANNOT possibly build anything else.

Uh, I go to bed every single night at 3 or 4am its not like I want to stay up till 4am but I can not sleep till 4am. It is my body system. So if the announcement comes during those times before I sleep I guess I get to see it. I'm not going to force myself though I don't think. I will just see it in the morning, if I don't see the announcement before I go to sleep before my college class.

It's hard to imagine that there was a day that I had to wait until the Getaway Guide came through the mail in spring in order to find out what Cedar Point was opening that season. These days we're not only used to getting construction photos and online announcements.. We're disappointed if we don't get animated 3D renderings of the ride. I wonder how far off we are from seeing the media day broadcast live over the internet. I believe last year Holiday World attempted a live broadcast of the announcement until the server crashed! Does anyone think Cedar Point will do this next time around?

Make sure you don't get wasted if want to stay up when you go (well you probably already there) I get wasted a lot at bars and sometimes I really regret it.

Will the prject be announced in other areas then ohio? Like oh...... say..... Michigan?

I bet Local 4 will have it here in Michigan they are "Everywhere". Not sure if it will be in the morning, but if they don't annouce I will be surprise. They are the ones who annouced Demon Drop was up for sale as well. They were on the phone with someone who worked for Cedar Point talking about sale when it happened, it was kind of cool to hear.

Sounds like Action News here in Cleveland... if you can really consider them "the news."

Well, I've had enough. I'm going to bed. For those of you do stay up all night...Congratulations! I wish I could've joined you. But unfortunatly, even though I don't go to work until 1pm, I do have homework to do before I go to work.

Have a good mosh-pitting!!!

Tagline that would be cool..... "Save a Horse.... Ride Maverick"
