I'm very interested in what is happening, but there is NO way i'm doing an all nighter! (can someone call me! lol)

...and all those threads will be closed by Jeff or Walt because they will have unleashed the "official" thread and change the name of the forum to Maverick with a nice little anecdote about the ride underneath.

Who is going to be the first to have their pointbuzz name be "insert project 2007 official name here"? That is what i want to know. I guess if it is Maverick... people already have names with maverick in it.

Well, only 2 1/2 more hours till midnight here. Wonder what time they'll post it on their main site. Hopefully at the same time as the media releases it.

Just think all of the media (tv...radio?...websites) already have the info...they know...how lucky

I'll be up all night, but that nothing new since I work the graveyard shift. The only downfall is I haveto wait till i get home at 730am

As far as the CP Blog is concerned, I have doubts that a blog entry will be up so early in the morning, unless it was pre-written awhile back. I'm thinking the ride description will be up early in the morning and a blog entry will be up a few hours afterward, giving the more friendly description of what the ride will be like. On the other hand, the rest of the world will probably not know the difference because they are not pulling all nighters over a roller coaster.

I think some of you want to see this a bit too much...

Well, I really wish I was able to stay up all night waiting to hear the announcement. I envy those who can! I'm just so excited I want to know what it's going to be. But, I have two kids and a hubby to wake up early and get them off to where they gotta go. I'll be up early enough to see the morning news though. So, I guess it's all the same.

I've never waited for a new ride announcement. How much info will they give on the news? Just a basic announcement? I wanna see simulations and stuff like that!

Will the prject be announced in other areas then ohio? Like oh...... say..... Michigan?

No. They're announcing it to the City of Sandusky and no where else. And the internet will not carry the message. It will just shut down.

It will be announced on the website, and you can see it no matter where you live. Or Pointbuzz will be buzzing with info I'm sure. You will hear about it, don't worry.

I won't be staying up all night, but I will be getting up at 6:30 to see it. I'm really looking forward to it, I think it will match the Screamscape mockup, but it will be disappointing to lose the suspension and mystery of a new ride being built. Heres to Maverick, hopefully it will be great.
