A brand new coaster, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must Maverick.
More rapid than Raptor his movements they came,

As I watched on the web, and was seeing a flying hound,
Down the drop Maverick came with a great mighty bound.
He turned to the right, back again to the left.
His turns were all tight, Stengel's vision per-fect;
And then the train flies over one cam-el back,
And he looked so smooth, coursing the track.
His trains -- how they twinkled! his layout how daring!
His supports were like sand, his track like a cherry!
He turns to the right banks up with a roar,
And then flips us all over, like Mantis before;
A quick turn to the left, and up to repeat;
Dizziness encircles your head like a wreath;
Bank hard to the right, into the strait-away tunnel
That shook, when he laughed, then we shot down the funnel.
He was twisted and fast, my mouth dropped like a bomb,
And I gasped when I saw it, at Cedar Point dot com;
A blink of my eye, and a twist of his track,
Over so quickly, in the station I was back;
I spoke not a word, but went straight to PointBuzz ,
And filled all the forums; with things to discuss,

Then pulling his paw from inside of his nose,
And giving a nod, the Red Barron arose;
He sprang to his plane, to his PR team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, as he flew out toward heaven,
"Happy Announcement to all, You still can't ride until 2007!!"
