I could play HOCKEY with the burgers they were frying up there one day.... I don't know how you can sink much lower than that...

I always thought the idea of a ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant in the middle of the roller coaster capital was a mess waiting to happen. The food is hit and miss. Considering every food place at the point is expensive, I think it is one of the better deals. I go to the Market once a season for lunch. I ate Golden Coral today and am still suffering. On a side note, Sandusky has just about every restaurant you could want except Dave and Buster's. I went there on a trip to see an Indians game and the food was good and the games were a lot of fun.

I disagree with Sandusky having every restaurant you could want. I want more 24 hour places, because Diana's and Steak n Shake just doesn't cut it. Bring on the IHOP and Denny's.

^And Waffle House! I've been say for years that anyone who opens a Waffle House in Sandusky is opening a goldmine!

That is relly wierd that they haven't announce anything! I know times are tough and many are trying to cut back, but Cedarpoint is the Coaster capital of the world! I hope they keep up! I do like the families rule 2008. They didn't have to spend a ton since the rides from Geauga Lake. I am happy that the rides are being enjoyed by more kids! My kids enjoyed those rides! If anything I hope they work on bringing better food!

^ nice. The line that I am most interested in is the one that says, "GoodTimeCam is going away. New location coming soon." :) Its probably nothing to get too overexcited about, but you never know...

Either way, I'm still excited about the higher resolution cams. :)

^You're right on that. That line often resulted in them showing a new coaster cam...but probably not this time. I vote they just put a camera with a mic in their office and maybe we'll hear them spill the beans. If only it were that easy.

I dunno if I'm reading too much between the lines, but what is the cam mounted on? Is it on the theater? Could be the cam's going away/moving because whatever it's on is going away/moving.

The camera is mounted on the sheds/stand for the Night time Show that is between the Goodtime Theater and Coasters. I would welcome the disappearance of the Nightly Summer show and the reappearance of a clear view of the train station and now Millennium Force.

Though I'm sure many of us would prefer the Nostalgia of the Giant Wheel returning there,

^Your wish has been granted, the screen blew down in the storm earlier this month (check out the blog.) I wonder if they are going to replace the screen or if perhaps they will choose to do another night time show instead.

I saw that, but the screen blows away every few years. I believe that was the second blog about such an incident????

yeah. i got it....
the yellow b&m pics are for cedar point. due to be shipped within a couple weeks after the opening of the park.
it fits perfectly as the new blog on the cp website states that they are 'moving' the goodtime cam.
they only 'usually' move a cam for construction or a new building.
the cam would be up by the time they would need to take down either space spiral or demon drop. (or both, depending on size of coaster)
it all fits. cp needs a new icon in the FRONT of the park, and i think a record breaking dive maching would go perfectly.
space wise in that area... you can go to google earth and see that there are alot of flat top buildings, which they could easily reinforce to put part of the ride on.

simple, thats it. thats whats happening.
