Latest Blog Entry "Big Changes Coming"

So the latest blog entry has something blurred through a sheet of plastic.
Anyone have any ideas what it might be? I personally see it as a table with some sort of new attraction under it. But who knows, probably not.

I'll venturing a guess that it's the new sign for Magnum's 20th birthday.

It has wheel whatever it is. Sea of Intamin? well Intamin did make cheesey lame water ride at Michigan adventure. Maybe they are switching the turnpike cars over to electric? Random thought but look at this way, with the electic system it saves on gas, pollution and it would be safer no more bumping of the cars. Al Gore would be proud.

It says that its in their office so I am going to guess its something about the new building. Unless their office is in Planning and Design that is what I think its about.

It's part of the Live Entertainment dept....The new show "T&T's Summer Job." Spectators will enjoy a spectacular view of Silver Tags at work through a new state of the art Plexiglass window. Those not wishing to be put to work are advised to stand at least 5 feet away from the window.

"We'll cross the plastic" I think mean's something along the lines of a new paint job but by the looks of the black thing behind the plastic it looks as if it could be a model of something (ie: the park, a ride). That's just my guess but I'm hoping for the best. I'd love to see something new in 09 but I'm just fine with the park being the way it is now.

I agree it kind of look like a model of a ?new? ride or something. It looks as if it is on a desk and is covered by a garbage bag.

Or we can be tricked into thinking its about this and it can really be something about the new offices. Kinda hard to market that to the public.

Maybe the hint is in with the Sea of Intamins or the Lot of coasters.

Well, if you look close, you can see a large picture of blue streak on the wall behind the black blob. Maybe it has to do with BS or they're giving it a nice surprise.....:)

It's probally the 500ft wooden coaster with splashdown and 50 inversions we've all been waiting for and it's going to be in place of the Blue Streak!! ;)

That's not a pic of blue streak. It is a picture of the big dipper from geauga lake. I super digitally enhanced the photo with my through the plastic wrap software. Thus something "big" is coming. This would also be why the capital expendatures did not show the purchase of a new ride for Cedar Point. Before you all say " it won't be done by 2009" It will be for 2010. Next year we just get working restrooms ( hopefully). There will probably be a huge soak city expantion for 2010.

Maybe the Automatic hand-dryers will be even more powerfull next year! they will blow the skin off your hand!

Meh...looks like a new monitor, printer/fax, and other new office equipment. Or they're now moving the actual offices over to the new building. The burning question in my mind is why do they have a park trash can in their office? Of course, I've heard Tony tears through paper like Wicked Twister goes through wheels. ;)

My guess is with the Magnum sign. Whatever is behind the plastic is covered in a black tarp. Maybe what we're looking at is a router in a room in the P&D building (might explain the fluorescent light fixtures). So maybe the new Magnum sign is under the tarp. And the dust from the router would explain the need for the curtain.

I think Tim is just trying to expand his office.

Don't forget about Cedar Creek Mine Ride turning 40 this year, but of course it will be over shadowed by Magnum.

I say Magnum because Tony mentioned that it would be receiving some attention this year. IIRC he said it would be getting a new sign of some sort. I didn't take notes at the holiday party like I usually do.

I think that it is the happy birthday sign for Maggie. I am hoping it is so. Or maybe it is a sign for Adam to not back smack seagulls. :P
