Hey...easy on the "old" references. You are disrespecting me...and Jeff for that matter.
"You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world...but it requires people to make the dreams a reality."
-Walt Disney
Well, you are old guys who do respect people's opinions (at least if they can back them up). You're bucking the crotchety old guy sterotype, and that's a good thing. ;)

Tell that to them over at GLT. I posted over there under this same screen name, just wanting to reminisce about GL, and offering my input, and was immediately told to leave because I was a "buzzard". So, really, if you want to bring up rudeness and/or name-calling, let's start there.
wow. I go over to glt all the time and everyone there is full of integrity and respect. They really are nice people that are there to just remember our park. If you don't punctuate or spell something wrong, they don't have a band of perfect posting agents on hand to jump down their throat. If this means I wear my foil hat, than I wear it proudly!! You might want to take a step back and read the posts here. The reason I come here is to get info on this park that I love.

Whatever is under that tarp, I will go out on a limb and guarantee very few of you are going to be blown away by it. It's too small, too late in the season, too little evidence on the ground, and without any significant corroborating investment listed in CF's budget.
So maybe it's a new sign for Magnum. Or a crate full of dynamite so that John may take appropriate steps with Midway Market. Or a stack of new diaper changing tables for family restrooms (get it . . . big 'change' . . . oh, never mind.) But whatever it is, I highly doubt we'll be talking about it this time next year.
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
^^I agree and well put. My "maybe new trains for an existing coaster" is even a huge stretch. It would be cool for once if they did add a big attraction and kept it a big secret. But that probably wouldn't be a wise move either as you want people to know about a new attraction early so they can plan their trips. Not to mention, you really can't hide a huge roller coaster or thrill ride.

You're kidding right? If you don't have the same opinion as them, they snap! The site reminds me of a troll site.
Not all of us are that way! I love being on this site and on GLT! I just love to talk about my favorite hobbies and that is amusement parks and coasters! I know I have a special place in my heart for Geauga Lake. That park meant allot to many people. I also have a love for Cedar Point too! I hope that everyone knows that I hope whatever the big change is that it will be a good one and not a bad one!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
It's no more of a stretch than anyone else's idea here...we're all in the same boat here, ATL or not.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that these "Big Changes" might have something to do with that "Big" building out back of Tony's office.
Its obviously the model for the new 500ft Aquatrax...they did say Sea of Intamin
After his bid for the Presidency failed the lemon chill guy hasnt returned my texts, phone calls, facebook and myspace messages, and carrier pigeon messages. Maybe he was stuck behind the plastic and they didnt give him any air?
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
Ah, you silly PointBuzzers. Fooled by Tony again. He could post a picutre of a toilet with a coat hanger wrapped around a plunger stuck in the toilet, and you all would speculate as to what it means for Cedar Point next season. There was the pile of dirt last season, the pile of wood this season, and now some mysterious plastic tarp. What are the odds that this turns out to be nothing? Better than the odds of getting stuck on a roller coaster while on break, I'd say. ;)
Trent, this is the blog that they're talking about:

It's annoying when people do not capitalize anything, spell words in ways that give them different meanings, and don't put periods or commas. It's hard to read when people cant write. If you don't like the people here, why do you stick around and put up with them?
