Aah, but even with those you have whiny-assed enthusiasts complaining that they "inhibit airtime". Personally, I disagree, but what do I know. I'm the type of person who claims to have felt airtime even in OTSRs (Talon, Fire Dragon, CPs-Corkscrew...)

I'm gonna put my money on OTSRs for this one. CP, Intamin or both parties involved will want you snuggled in like a baby for the launch.

Hypersonic xlc has no otsrs nor does xcellerator or superman the escape or even Mr.freeze. There isn't a need. Why would anyone think they would? Give me a legitement reason to need them or what advantages they would have?

1. Each 'seat' would simply be a locking 3'x3'x7' chain link cage for each rider. It would give a lot of freedodm of movement, allow larger riders and keep the lines short.

Don't forget about a helmet for option #1.

Here is something to ponder. I worked on the force and I was told by one of my co workers that they used to for test rides go without lapbars and actually stand up and just hold on. So yes "Restraints, we dont need no stinkin restraints"

I dont know all that much about restraints and such but I do like the ones on the Millie as they lend to an open feeling that makes the ride thrilling!

So what? What difference does the top speed make? It's not like the riders are going to quantum tunnel through the lapbars at that speed...

Hey

I guess they would need some special restraint because for Daponda that goes 106 mph in japan they had to make special restraints or trains to prevent your legs from snapping off.
