Is it possible to get a walkon to TTD?

Is it possible to get a walkon or less than 10 minute wait on TTD? Obviously if you could get ERT or were able to be the fastest "bull" in the morning, you'd get it, but is it even possible under any other circumstance?

Of course it is possible, just rare. Compare MF and TTD. MF can operate in worse conditions and also it has a higher capacity. It's relatively rare that MF is a walkon and less likely that TTD will have that status.

While working in the park in the '05 season, I saw a couple of days where it was DAMN close. The lines weren't even off the platform. About a half-dozen days I saw a 20-min wait, TOPS! I considar anything less than an hour a walk on.

It wasn't a walk on, but this is about as close as it gets.

That was the first Monday in May that they're open. It was sunny 72 degrees with a nice breeze. And that picture was the longest line I had to wait in.

I've gotten many walk on's in a row. Friday's in October produce many chances, which was the same time I had this experience. [TTD]

Same here, the friday of halloweekends was sweet.

Yeah, walk on's are entirely possible.
Like Gomez posted, lines like those are as close as you can get....unless there's virtually nobody at the park.

I myself have experienced many. The best ones I had were on 2 friday trips during Halloweekends about 2 hours before the park closed. I barely waited 10 for each ride! In those cases I like to marathon until the park closes. One time I got around 7 rides in those 2 hours plus the last train of the day. It was great!:)

last may i had many walk ons, it was about an hour to close and they were just waiting for people. and the funny thing is I had to wait for people to fill up the trains cuz they would not send them out half full.

The train would never make it over if they don't fill it up. Also I have difficulty reading post that show no use of those shift keys conveniently placed on both sides of the keyboard. :)

Gotta love waiting for those trains to fill. ;)
I tell ya I hate days like that. That is when people refuse to get on because they want the last train of the day and they want front row.

I had 2 walk ons in May. Then the damn thing went down mechanical for the rest of the weekend.

When was this, I dont have anything on my chart?? I have the 13th, 14th, and 15th down for "all day weather" but I dont have any mechanical.

I agree with a few of the posts I've read. I make two trips a year, always in early May and again around the first or second Halloweekend. The best chance for a walk-on is in May. In fact, the crowds are so light that a lot of the coasters are walk-ons, as long as you can deal with the unpredictable weather that time of year.

When I went in May of last season the line was not past the platform on TTD. I only had to wait 2 cycles to get on!

This past October i got a walkon for TTD, two walkons for MF, and i was the only one on WT. And, in May and October, countless walkons for Magnum :)

By far the emptiest day ever in the park is that first monday.

Wait, are you talking about opening day?

Opening day is typically a Saturday. Although for a few years it was a Sunday because a company rented out the park on opening Saturday.
