well my kids,my boyfreind and I just got back from cp,along with my kids, we all fit :) but I know I have to regain strength and quit eating the fries, nacho's and famouse daves or one day I will be burnt with the tragedy once again of not fitting, I will just call it, the millenium diet,lol...the choice begins, do you want to go to the park to EAT OR RIDE,,lol...some of us have all the luck :( and no matter who shortened the belts,I agree with who said they are all different measures, the far back to the end seems bigger at least what I can see...
I'm very grateful to all of you here who have been posting about this. It really helped keep me motivated to stay on my diet! I'm 5' 10" and weigh 207 with a 36-37" waist. I pulled minimum 2" of slack on the test seat and then got in the inside front yellow seat and BARELY got 1". On wednesday when I went, a person would get booted on every other train.
5' 9" 130lbs 30waist.
Hell even with my skinniness im surprised to see I only have like 4 inches of slack with those seatbelts. I feel sorry for those who just happen to be big (not fat) and are unable to ride.

My God, is that even healthy for your age?

Most professionals seem to agree that BMI is pointless. By that standard, I was overweight in high school, and if you ever got to see the photos of me from then, you'd think I was too thin. It really doesn't take into consideration you shape, bone density, etc.

With a 40" waist it might be close. It really all depends on how you are built. I have seen people who are smaller than myself, and they could not ride.
Earlier when I made my first trip, I had no idea if I was able to ride this year. I couldn't ride last year, so I was nervous about whether or not I would be able to ride, and I am able to.

Why are you so rude {love cedar point), if you do not have a weight problem, then you have no idea just how hard it is and how uncomfortable it is to be in the situation of having a weight problem,I know that, I was once there where I did not fit and I did not think that I would ever have to face that fact but I did, and also, I did something about it, and now I ride just about every weekend, but still, I am so nervouse when I get in line, wondering if this week, will I still fit. It is not easy to lose the weight, and it can creep right back on you if you are not aware of it at all times so just because you fit once, don't mean you will the next if you are a close fit. I have about three inches of room, don't forget they want two inch slack** leaving me right now, with only an inch,, I refer to my diet as I said before ( as the millenium diet), lol.... but please show a little respect for others and be thankfull that you don't have a weight problem*
