I know that Halloweekends is a long way off, but I was wondering if CP hires additional Screamsters for Halloweekends. I have the weekends off and would possibly like to explore this as another way to have fun and make some money. Would I be able to get On-Point housing for the weekends? Or maybe is there someone in HR I can contact that will be able to answer these questions for me?

We Screamsters are by far the coolest employees the park hires all year. :) It's definately a ton of fun, but like 99er said, be ready to wake up sore on Saturday and Sunday mornings. PM 99er or myself if you want to know more.

Yes they do provide housing for Screamster employees: it is off point right at the end of the causeway. The person you would want to contact is Peggy Bertsch and her e-mail is pbertsch@cedarpoint.com. The best thing is just to apply about a month before the first date of Halloweekends starts, and then just send Peggy an e-mail saying that your interested in becoming a Screamster.
It's right by the marina gate. It's the tan building with a goofy triangly roof.

You can also apply online, which would seem to be the easier way to do it. No need to do it this early though, like DJA said, wait until about mid August. Of course, if you want to start a few weeks early in another department, I'm sure they'll find somewhere to put you...

That's good. I haven't heard anything from Mr. Giggles in a long time. I figured he'd fallen off the face of the Earth or something...
Welcome to the crew Brian. You'll have a great time with us.

I know this is off topic...sorry for that,,,but need help from employees.....family and i want to go to Halloweekends..we need 6 tickets.....is it safe to buy off of ebay...i posted this same question and lots are sceptical...they say its illegal to re-sell...and we could get stuck with tics that wont let us in.
Some also say that employees sell their tics,,,,"a big black market" for that.
What do you employees think?
Not that they would really know, but I'm pretty sure Cedar Point tickets are void if they are resold.
