I'm puzzled as to why people want a return of the poorly themed, limited effort haunted houses of past years; with the exception of Happy Jack's, none of them are worthy of remembrance.
Girl: "l want to ride that yellow one again... Twisted Wicker"
Me: "It's a roller coaster, not a broken clothes hamper."
So...what can we really expect to come out of HalloWeekends this year? With the closure of Mean Streak opening weekend, do you think this could mean that this could be the last year for Eden Musee? Or could it not be returning this year at all, especially if they close off the area across the train tracks by Mean Streak altogether? I thought that one was always fun and pretty creative, especially with the wax figures and decor.
Honestly I think the park needs to make their haunts a little more...dare I say...scarier again. Don't get me wrong, a lot of them are great, but to me it seems like they've been lacking the past few years. It would be nice to see a return of some former haunts like Happy Jack's and hopefully CarnEvil (because wow Feary Tales was GOD awful), and I personally would like to see the Tombstone Terror-tory either removed or relocated, but I really have no clue what the park could have planned for this year.

I'm not sure I recognize these from an existing haunt. Is it possible that we're getting a version of Trick or Treat from Knott's?
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
I'd like to see another "kid's" haunted house. Something a step up from Magical House on Boo Hill, but not too intense.
My son and I love the Great Pumpkin Festival attractions. I forget what it was called but the bubble pit was a huge hit last year. I have a picture of my boy playing in it as the wallpaper on my phone. Hopefully it comes back this year. I think the Valravn plaza may require it to be relocated. If it does come back hopefully they find a way to shield it from the wind off the lake a little better, the bubbles blew away pretty quickly.

According to a posting on Facebook from Street Drum Corps it appears that there will be a production of Blood Drums this year at Cedar Point along with the ones at the other Cedar Fair parks like in previous years. I wonder if this will take the place of Skeleton Crew? Or will they set up a new stage somewhere on the midways?
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
Skeleton Crew is an awesome show. I know in years past a couple of the performers also do the Cirque en Vol show at SeaBreeze, which is very similar (albeit very stripped down) to the trampoline finale of Skeleton Crew.
I wish they could bring back Midnight Syndicate. I know the venue is no longer standing. But I heard it was an incredible show. 2014 was the only year I didn't make it to HalloWeekends in several years.

I don't think there needs to be a new haunt every year but updates are always appreciated. I just figured there might be some new plans in store for the 20th anniversary but so far it doesn't seem there will be. I agree though, the indoor haunts are pretty good but some of the scare zones could be replaced.
