Yes the path by Dragster is Blood on the Bayou, I think it is the exit, but not sure.
I walked the path yesterday and was extremely surprised and impressed with the quality and amount of work involved in the attraction. I can't wait till we start lighting it and see where it goes from here.
It has the potential to be one of the most detailed and best looking zones! Though I am seeing some stuff for Scream Works (Former Fright Zone) that I am getting really impressed with also!!

Bayou is a one way zone similar to what terror island next to it is. there may be a line if there is a big crowd but it will (hopefully) be managed and funneled through. and yes dj is right, don't try to find screamworks, think of fright zone, change the name, put a new theme on it, it is the same location.

That is good to hear! I was thinking that the whole area would be going away... and I think that fright zone concept (not a one-way line, but an area to roam about) is the best.
it will still be two way, but what was the "fright zone" is now screamworks. I believe if I recall correctly, that picture SSL posted should be just about across from fort sandusky, where the coach/wagon usually sits during halloweekends. I may have my backgrounds of pictures mixed up though since I haven't been there to see the sign in person.

I think Blood on the Bayou is going to be a really awesome zone. I've been excited about the concept for quite some time now. They've got a good base of veteran Screamsters heading there this year, and the theming that I've seen has been really top notch. I'm really excited to see it when it's all ready for show time.
Of course, Terror Island is still going to be the best zone in the park this year, but I'm ok with another zone getting close to achieving our greatness. ;)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

Cedar Point has some fairly talented creative folks on staff and it appears HalloWeekends is one of the few places they loosen the reins a bit and allow them to do there thing.
I'm also hoping that Ouimet era will allow those very talented folks to do their thing in future attractions. The Kinzel era seemed to think of theming as an unnecesary expense. I agree the the bayou shack is wonderfully done, I hope we see that type of work throughout the park all summer long.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
