Griffing-Sandusky Airport sold?

It hurts me to see ANY airport closed. My day job is as a Flight Instructor out of SE Michigan and I had one of my students recently ask me if we could do a flight to SKY as one last tribute before it fades into just a memory of "that airport by Cedar Point". We flew in there a few weeks ago at night and the Point looked AWESOME from the air.

We flew over about 10:45-11PM on our way to SKY, it was 8/1 (a Wednesday):

Thanks! iPhones kind of struggle at night, especially out of a plane. :) I had a series or 5 or 6 shots, but deleted the rest, apparently because I thought this was the best, ha.

It turned out pretty good. I think it's cool to see the park from that perspective. From the ground the rides seem so big and from that picture everything seems so little!

I happened to fly over the park today on my way back to Sandusky from Put In Bay.

Well I'm down there somewhere!
