Goodbye, Snake River Falls!

If there’s a new coaster in its place I’d love for the lift hill to face the same direction. It’s a unique view from that direction towards the front and milly.

I thought just maybe a cam would be showing Snake River Falls this weekend.

The splash down area would likely be a good spot for for the station, with the entrance off the Frontier Trail and exit over by Skyhawk.

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

I looked last night and they did have camera 3 on the station, but by the time I remembered to try and watch for the last splash it was just after 8:00 and it was already closed.

Did anyone here get on the last boat?

^I did. It was a great last ride, and I've got the mug and certificate to show for it.

Work harder, seagulls! You need to push Cedar Point into the sun!

I took notice Monday of the expedition boats now residing in the SRF lake. Wondering if it’s just a way to use them for something and create some decor or if it’s some sort of early hint at something new.

Apparently there is a new handicap ramp leading to a door for Town Hall....could it be a re-imagined tour with an expansion for the lagoons?

Cedar Point is at peak Lagoon right now. Lagoons are hot. Siren's Curse is getting a new lagoon. Snake River Falls was eliminated in favor of a large lagoon. I can't wait for this offseason to watch all of the lagoon maintenance projects.

Please, please, please bring back the fish food dispensers so we can gawk at thousands of carp fighting over the food we toss the fish. That was a sight to behold.

Sit tight fellas ;) Tall boys are chilling in the bushes.

No wonder lagoon maintenance was necessary, people polluting the pristine waters with cat food. The carp near Iron Dragon were quite large yesterday. I once heard some sage advice from a wise expert named Mr. Carp. He advised "When feeding your fish give him just one spot, or something may happen, you never know what."

I remember telling my grandpa as a kid that the big fat fish in the lagoon would make for a good fish fry. He told me the following in response-

'There's only one good way to cook a carp. Wrap it in a paper bag, preheat your oven for 350 degrees, bake for 25 minutes, throw away the carp, and eat the bag.'
