Gold Dorms coming down

For those who are concerned about how long it will take maintenance to get to a ride location from the off point maintenance shop...Maintenance workers all usually alternate every other day or every two days of being called to ride locations, while the other days they are in the shop. While one group is in the shop on Wednesday, they will be back on the midways come Thursday for being on call to ride locations.

Cedar Point has a good system going on with their employees and the reasons why buildings are moved elsewhere...don't underestimate it. They know what they're doing.

I was a ride host for 2 years and I'm friends with many of the maintenance workers. Unfortunately, I don't have a link for you, rather actual information from what they told me.

Also, you would begin to think that was the case when you have alternate maintenance workers coming to your ride location every other day.

No Rob, I never knew he had a fb when I worked there. I talked to Dan & Ray a bit back then but always wanted to see Rob's stuff, he had some cool info/pics even when I worked there. Plus dude you were like one of my fav maint. people haha, some of the stuff you said made my day

Oh, see I never got the chance to meet any of the maint. that usually worked in Area 2 or 3. I was in Area 1 and had a lot of cool maintenance guys I became friends with too.

Can't believe a pissing match about where maintenance should be went several pages.

That's not as bad as the Mean Streak argument in the next major ride thread.

It's pointbuzz...There's always going to be a pissing match somewhere :P
