I was at Knott’s recently and was surprised to see a Fridays, but it is indeed closed for good. It was part of the Marketplace area, and wasn’t inside the park itself. An employee told me it wasn’t very good and served mainly as a bar for park goers (and non-goers) to sit somewhere and get sloshed. It’s closure leaves Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner restaurant as the only sit down place outside the park. They have also turned one of their dining rooms into a bar.
Cats, no. Camels, Yes.
Camels run loose, stroll Cedar Point theme park after enclosure escape
Sit tight fellas ;) Whoop, Whoop Juggalos!
Then they corral the cats at the end of the night? The secret cat squad is known only to 5 or so top level employees. Don’t even ask a sweep, they have seen nothing, only rumors of a feline company of heroes. Last mechanic to report a cat sighting found himself changing lightbulbs at a Burger King.

There use to be a lot of cats all over the park, and from what I was told, were welcomed for the most part. I remember a lot of them lived under the old sections of Breakers and it was common to see them coming and going if you walked the boardwalk a lot. Slowly over the years I saw less and less of them so I assume the park got rid of them.
There was an old park that released the cats,
Well fancy that! They released the cats,
They released the cats to catch the rats,
They released the rats to scare the emu,
That roams the midways and loiters and lingers,
Hoarding the hand-breaded chicken fingers,
They let out the emu to scare off the seagulls,
They brought the seagulls to eat the Friar's spilled fries,
I don't know why the Friar spilled fries.
Perhaps he'll die.

Promoter of fog.
