Focus of 2017?

I'd rather see a coaster like Firechaser express go there.

If CP was ever to get a flyer, STR location is the prime spot. Not saying that they should but it is the only B&M model left that they dont have. Unless they would ever get a second giga (one can dream).

Didn't Kinzel say in his book that they had planned another 300' coaster for 2013 but that plan was scrapped and they built Gatekeeper instead? I wonder what that coaster was gonna be. Maybe I'll ask at CoasterMania!...

Yes, Kinzel did state in the book that there were plans for another giga in the back of the park, but those plans were nixed for Gatekeeper.

Soak City looks to be the next big expansion, with the removal of the Go Karts, the rumored removal of the putt putt golf, and the land they already gained with the Breakers renovation, it's a huge chunk of space for some things that SC lacks. The one thing that still is in question is what happens to Ripcord? Move it to another location inside the park, or remove it all together?

I like flyers personally, but I would be all for a second giga in the park. Heck I would be happy with any B&M hyper-giga added. It would offer such a different ride the Magnum and MF they could all happily co-exist.

I just don't see another giga/hyper coaster going in.

I would be all for a B&M giga coaster but to me the support design would need to be either a single row style or one that doesn't take up that much space. Sometimes the supports on B&M are giant and take up a lot of space and are ugly as well in some cases.

I mentioned this in the other thread, but this one seems to be more popular. I think it would be cool if they incorporated a new water ride by a different manufacturer in there. I really like the idea of having a ride like Race for your life Charlie Brown type of water ride in the former area of Shoot the Rapids. It doesn't have to be Peanuts themed, as long as it's a fun family water ride.

I would really love an expansion of Soak City and I really see that happening for next year. Im not a water park person truthfully, but an updated Bubbles Swim up bar would be awesome!

I would also love to see CP get a new style Ripcord. Perhaps the worlds tallest skycoaster somewhere located inside the park.

I would hate for them to waste the land once occupied by STR for a Skycoaster, but that could be a prime spot for one.

Great idea about an updated Bubbles but I love the present location, great view of the lake and a little out of the way.
