Favorite sounds of CP

I just love getting out of the car in the parking lot! You hear lots of great sounds then like the roar of Blue Streak, the lift of Raptor, the sound of Demon Drop, and the music at the front entrance.

I also love all of the music they play in the backround at CP.

When I clicked on the topic, I actually sneezed because of some dust that a little breeze kicked up off my monitor.....wonder if it symbolizes anything relating to this topic?;)

I can't wait to get those nostalgic sounds back in my ear drum once again.:)

I love all the sounds. Screams of people riding the rides. The compressed air on Power Tower, the chain lifts, launches on WT and TTD, Roar from Raptor and Mantis, the squeal from Mean Streak that makes it sound like it's falling apart. Or maybe its the offseason depression that makes me miss everything.

I'd agree with the cable of TTD. before the train comes by.

The sound of the mantis is definately my favoirte. Something about it just excites me! Even though I don't really like to ride it, lol

Somebody said -- and I think it might have been 0g, but don't hold me to it -- that TTD sounds like the Death Star powering up to blow up a planet. Now I'll always think of that when I hear it. :)

First you have the wonderful sounds coming from a wonderful ride. Then it at the very end, I hear the voice. TTD's auto-spiel was the greatest.

I like the sound of the music on MF loading platform. I also like the sound of people having a good time.

Yeah, I loved MF's auto spiel the best. But, TTD's was second best. I still think CP made a huge mistake when they took those two spiels off. All the rest of the auto spiels in the park sucked. But, TTD's and MF's were awesome.

That video reminds me how much I LOVE TTD's station. I think it's the best station of any coaster I've been on when it comes to interacting with the midway. It's great how close everyone can get. I would assume it's perfect for adults encouraging their "little ones" if they aren't going to ride with them. They basically can be next to them as they get on, and walk up to the launch with them. So awesome.

You probabbly heard about Dragster sounding like the Death Star from me. That is something I have commented on to several people. On a side note: my first reaction when I saw Walt's video was that it sounded like the Death Star.

I still wish (although I doubt there would be enough public demand for it) that CP would make a "Sounds of the Park" CD. With a few tracks from the Midway Music, Ride Songs (MF, TTD, WT), and just general sounds from the park (TTD Launch, Midway sounds, Wicked Twister) mixed in... I would definitely buy it... Some people enjoy the sounds of oceans, and thunderstorms on CDs... why can't we enjoy the sounds of our favorite Amusement Park on CD?

Actually, I wish a lot of things in my life would release soundtracks. Amusement parks, video games, BoomShine. ;)

MF, WT, and TTD's station music can be downloaded very easily.

MF is on CP's web site in the Extra Point section.

I'm sure everyone knew this already though. :)

The sound that Wicked Twister's Inverters make. From the electrical room it's like stabs in the ears with rods.
