Down?

i went today and watched yellow sit on the hill most of the day. i seen it finally make its way back to the station late in the afternoon. damn, it was hot up there today. maxair and space needle also died today. dragster also had a period, cramped up and needed time to itself, too. other than that, memorial day weekend sunday, much too crowded.

Great shots Walt! So whatever happened to the "you're really not suppose to take pictures of maintenance" rule? Was that just a couple of employees telling me that?

I've never heard that rule. Granted, it's probably not something I would typically do. I just thought it was cool seeing them work up there.

I worked there for 2 summers and never heard that rule either... I even took pictures from our station when maintenence would be pushing trains into the station... It looked like an Olympic Bobsled Team....

This is very strange that this is happening to MF not something else. :)

I've only done it once or twice, but the last time I did, about 3 years ago, I was asked not to; by a supervisor. Apparently since maintenance is union, if something were to happen, there would be evidence that could possibly put the park at fault. I haven't done it since out of respect for the park, and what may or may not be their rule.

Them being in the Union has nothing to do with it. Jees some of you guys talk about unions like they are a bad thing. There wouldn't be a middle class if it weren't for unions.

BTW, I was calling Bravo Sierra on what was said by the supervisor, not what you said. :) Just thought I'd clarify that.

The only reason I could think of them not wanting people taking pictures of that is the embarassment factor. Not much you can do about it when people are around.

I see it says MF will be down again today.

Maxair is also down but may reopen later in the day.

Unions suck.

According to the website maXair is also currently down... I wonder if it went into the "30 minute" cycle again yesterday?
