I can believe it. It was down all afternoon, and as I left this evening, I followed a crane that pulled into an access road under the ride. There were also a number of sups, higher ups, and maintenance around all evening. *** Edited 5/21/2006 3:59:47 AM UTC by DBCP***

Maybe, but they have a tendency to pull out parts as soon as they break, and don't wait until they have the new one to replace it with.

if you take a look there on the CP page, it says on the right panel under Ride Availability that all the rides are scheduled to be open. But if you go under other future days that space doesn't appear.
I wonder if they'll already have it fixed today or if the page just isn't updated.

Yeah, what they were doing last night and yesterday afternoon, didn't look like it was going to allow the ride to reopen today.

Just got back from the Point...
Yesterday evening around 6 PM the Red Train was stopped on the lift, just out of the station. The queues had been emptied, and the crew was no where to be seen. When I left the park last night, several cranes were under the lift. When I took one last lap around the park this afternoon there was still no crew, and a large metal cover of some sort was sitting under the lift. Im not sure what the exact problem but it looks like it may be a few days at least.

everything on here is lies.
well, most.
I was under the ride today, and the cable is fine.
also, that metal box under the lift? Its actually a huge wood frame that holds up the counterweight.
I talked to a few Blue tags today, and haven't heard 100% what is wrong (am I the ONLY person that will say i'm NOT SURE what it is?)
I have a feeling it might be something with the counterweight area, as there is a huge chain on top of the cable system holding something.
Its possible its the gear box, but I don't think so... if it was, how the heck did they get the train back down?
What one of the blue tags told me was that some sort of pivitol sensor blew and it might be running as early as Monday or Tuesday.
