Do you think that any park (new or old) can take over the "worlds best amusement park" from Cedar Point.

Wow. This will be a shock, but I'll have to agree with Jeff on this one. There is nothing wrong with wanting the park to get better. If you let the park just coast along with no improvements, It will become ordinary,and nobody here wants that.

Wow flstc, you completely pick and choose what you like to read don't you? Jeff and a few of the other members here just clearified that it was not that they don't have a love for Cedar Point anymore. They just wish that the park could live up to it's potential.

And in all honesty, I think Jeff is a much nicer guy than he used to be. When I first came to this site he was very blunt and rude. Now he seems more layed back.

When I was younger I just thought he was a jerk. But now I realize, everyone goes through hard times in their life. And sometimes when you are going through hard times, the littlest things can set you off. Or annoy you more than they would if you were happy. Like someone asking if flip flops are allowed at Cedar Point. ;)

We all love Cedar Point here. If not, we would not be on this site. That does not mean that the park couldn't improve on some things. No one ever said that they hated Cedar Point. They were simply trying to get across the point that some areas of the park are not nearly as good as they should be.

Assuming I'm going through some kind of hard time is equally arrogant to assume. I'm just easily annoyed by people who:

• Think they know you.
• Don't think before they type.
• Think that anyone on a Web site actually spends a lot of time thinking about the other people to make anything personal.
• Can't deal with differing opinions and resort to name calling.
  

Really take that lyric in jeff or give the site to someone whoreally loves the point and wants to talk Point and not how Disney orEngland or IOV or Busch is so much better.

I think some people need hugs!! Who wants a hug? To get back on topic, there is not a park out there that can be the "world's best amusement park". In these economic times nobody is going to open a successful park. Take a look at what happened to hard rock park.

edit: All of this mindless "blinded" talk is really reminding me of why I head to WDW each spring now. Don't get me wrong, I loves me some CP (and it's within a relatively short drive, so that never hurts), but I'm definitely a Disney "nerd". :)
