Are you kidding? So far there's 22 pages here full of what everyone thinks. There's also several hundred responses to another thread "Calypso and Turnpike Land".
Easy sweet cheeks. Like I said before, it's been a while since I've been on here. I read about 10 pages but wasn't willing to read a novel. If you don't want to post your opinion again then don't. It's that simple. I just wanted to keep a conversation going. Also people's opinions could have changed. I'm Looking for people's current opinions; Not negative nancy's that are on a mission to play forum military. I thought my post fit this thread pretty well.

Me too. I agree. Your post fit in the forum just as well as everyone elses. A bunch of words in a box. You even used the same language as everyone else. Just lacked common sense. You reposted the same question from page 1 onto 22, but made it your own.
Which I did yesterday man. I just am trying to keep the conversation going but you can try in the nicest way but you'll still get criticized. Just trying to start conversation. If that offends people. I sincerely don't apologize.

He has to pay per-post?

Well you guys really know how to keep a forum going. Just billittle every post that you possibly can no matter how little of a deal it is. Either way it looks like I'm not wanted here. I thought my post's were fine considering it was related to the topic. Yeah a little out dated but damn. Anyway please continue. I was never here.

So, since some people legitimately think that pointlessly arguing for no reason is a good way to keep a thread on topic, I'm going to do my best to get this thread back on topic instead of staying on the mindless drivel that's been here.
That being said, I was just wondering from you guys what do you think are potential possibilities for the space being cleared out?
Sweet cheeks? What's that supposed to mean? I may have mistaken your attempt to keep a conversation going as laziness, but I refrained from name calling.
You prefer to read forward rather than backward? Then you should come around more often to catch up. Your question to the community you love made me laugh, that's all. The conversation, clearly, is already going after 22 pages here and hundreds of posts on other threads. So easy, there.
I think I'll pretend like you were never here as well.
Wait, what's all this about cleared lan....holy crap! Look at all that space. When did this happen?!?!1eleven!!

What I have always hoped for with Cedar Point, is a section dedicated to rides that have been retired throughout the chain. Examples of this area would include refurbished rides such as: The Rotor, 1001 Nacht type ride, Huss Top Spin, bring the scrambler out of Camp Snoopy, etc.
Well, the problem with that is if those rides would still be popular or desirable to have, they would not have been retired. For that reason, I can't see them bringing those rides back. BTW, Scrambler is not in Camp Snoopy, I think you are possibly referring to Tilt-a-Whirl.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
It would be nice to see like three or for scramblers put in that land. like i know cedar point already has one, but we could use more.
JK
I have slowly been warming up to the idea of a dive coaster. I just think it all depends if the red dorms stay or not. That will make a huge difference how that land is used.
Pete, yes, thank you. I did mean Tilt A Whirl. I don't know why I was thinking scrambler. Maybe because I was thinking of moving the scrambler over to that area too.
However, IIRC, popularity is not the only factor that is played in terms of retiring a ride. Lack of parts, maintenance issues, etc. But what I'm saying is these additions would be a refurbished or newer edition of the former attractions, which would allow readily available parts for maintenance. Not like it was at the end of their life before their removal. Parts were hard to come by or way to expensive then.
Just a thought that I had that I believe would add even more nostalgia to the park we know and love. Either way, I'm just excited to see what this area will become.
An issue with some older rides is that rides are no longer in production, nor are parts. One of the several reasons Wildcat was removed was that the park had to manufacture any needed replacement parts. (Also a factor in deciding to remove Fascination.)

Ok, no offense or anything but I have never once seen someone act like this in a serious matter. Why do some of you always do this? It really gets old.
Funny how definitions of "nostalgic" vary. Maybe it's all in a person's age.
My nostalgic Cedar Point would include Traver Circle Swings, The Bug, Bubble Bounce, Moon Rocket, and a Lindy Loop. As long as Top Spins and Rainbows still appear on state fair midways then I'm good.
