Demon Drop Replacement?

Though it appears to be good to go for another season, the Demon Drop's days are definitely numbered. It has a unique spot in the front of the park with limited real estate. When it gets the axe, what would be some good replacements?

Though I hate them, you could probably squeeze a Vekoma boomerang in there. But that's a fairly generic coaster that doesn't seem to fit CP style. CP is set with swing & drop rides. I'm not sure what would be best for that location. Ideas?

Not this again.....

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Why not a themed indoor Intamin Bobsled? I mean, c'mon, with a space theme, how could they go wrong?

You know CP doesn't do theming. Just look at Dragster.

Man, this topic has been talked to death recently.

Probably because of the fact that CP is putting in that 500' wooden coaster over Lake Erie when they remove DD.

Umm maybe one of those intamin ball coasters or a frequent faller. Frequent faller would be better since it is more of a family driven ride. Not all families and their kids want the biggest thrills but they do want coasters.

The entrance to the next coaster which will have the lift hill back behind the games (there's a building there now, but i'm sure they can relocate whatever is in there) and the ride can go out into the parking lot.

I think you're right!!!!11

They could do a quasi-Zeus thing and put a tunnel UNDER the parking lot or loop it rough the center of the midway. It would be a nice out& back coaster. Better yet, do both.

The could call it Noah's Ark because of all the flooding.

If you can build a tunnel under the English Channel, you can build a tunnel that WON'T flood at CP! You could revamp the pinic shelters and suspend the coaster over the front enterence and have it run through the loop on Raptor and weave through Blue Streak. It would be a SICK coaster.

Do you know the COST of the tunnel under the English Channel? I don't think CP has that budget.

Secondly, that tunnel goes UNDER the channel, any tunnel at CP would be going right into the water table (unless they wanted to go pretty deep and get under the lake bed).

Its really just not worth it to try and tunnel.

Hey, the got the tunnel for Maverick Finished, right? It's about the same level.

Fine, but what about the OTHER idea?

That would be pretty cool, although an interesting engineering nightmare. Just the support logistics would make it a headache, but it would make for a very interesting coaster.

Well why not just put fast food in the park?

Id say move Wildcat up front like it used to be (I know it wouldnt be the exact same spot). then they would have a bit of room to work with back by Iron Dragon.

R.I.P. MrScott... You're greatly missed!!
