I lost 2 of those hats, one in 94 one in 95...dxmn corkscrew (yeah, I was dumb enough to wear it on a ride so its my fault I lost it.) still pissed about that

Just for the record, does anyone have any figures on how many fatalities, if any, have occured on CedarPoint rides?

Zero have been caused by the rides. People have of course had heart attacks and such, which you'd expect after giving hundreds of millions of rides.

Hey Jeff, you wouldn't happen to know if any heart-attacks or such deaths happened recently, like past five years? I'm asking because my mother insists someone within that time period died at Cedar Something on a ride. I figured Cedar Point or maybe a Cedar Fair park, but just wondering if anyone did die at Cedar Point. Thanx.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

on Wildcat a farly older woman came back to the station dead because of a heart attack. How ever I dont think that was with in the last 5 years though

C.P. Soldier, you are an idiot.

"Seen it on the news"? Give me a break! Stop believing everything you hear on the news (and web) and learn how to spell and use proper grammer.

I think "research" is a word you should learn the meaning of.

I love it when someone rips on another for his grammar usage, and spells it "grammer" himself. It kind of lowers the credibility just a notch. Unless, of course, it was misspelled purposely to make a point; then shut my mouth and as I was.

Dont worry bro i wasnt offended. Our lingo is pretty gnarly tho!!! :)

I've been hearing some stuff from the Lemon Chill guy lately, you wanna hear what he told me?

I was waiting in line with my friend for the Giant Wheel last year and it was funny I'm just sitting here talking to my friend about something and we here these kids behind us saying man this ride goes 50 mph hour. I''m thinking if that's the case, than don't you think they would have shoulder harnesses? I'm just thinking like HERES YOUR SIGN.
Another thing I heard I was waiting in line with my friend for Top Thrill Dragster. As we're waiting in line we meet this guy from New Philadelphia. Anyway after a few conversations he asked me how many times I've been on it I told him. He kept trying to quiz me like how tall is this and what type of coaster is this because before I kept telling him stuff about Top Thrill Dragster. General facts. Than later on he was asking me you know how they fix the dragster? They bring a fresh roll of duct tape, a hammer and a screwdriver. I just carried on with him and laughed. I still keep thinking about that everytime I wait for Top Thrill Dragster.
In line for TTD. "They're ripping this whole ride down this winter and rebuilding it. The people who built it didnt know anything about roller coasters and messed it up. All the engineering is wrong and the ride has to be completely rebuilt. The launch on the uphill part (notice uphill part) isn't working good. Yep we may never see this ride again if it doesnt go good this winter. But seeing as its engineered wrong I dont wanna die." they left the line.

Yeah, either last year or the year before someone died on or shortly after a ride on Raptor. While unfortunate, I consider it kind of a non-event. People go all the time when participating in some kind of physical activity.

I know this topic is 6 years old but I wanted to bring it back. My last visit at Cedar Point on Friday I was waiting to ride Millennium Force in the station. While I'm waiting to ride, there is this crazy guy singing "Drops of Jupiter" out loud. I wasn't the only one looking at this guy. Anyway since I was a single rider, they ended up pairing me with this guy. I thought what the heck it cannot be too bad right? I was wrong! He gets in the train with me and just keeps going cheering Whooo Whooo. Everyone in the station, other guests and ride ops were trying so hard not to laugh.

I saw on the CP Facebook page someone asking if TTD was getting moved to Michigan Adventure. Apparently they heard it from someone else... LOL

Yeah that was him. I wish I could have found a computer and posted this on Myspace or Facebook because it would have been a funny status. :)

When I was at Wildwater Kingdom this past Sunday, a group of three boys walk by me and one kid says to the other "Look its Cedar Point". The other boys say "Where's Dragster". The boy response was great. "Well they took it to Geauga Lake."

Visual Scan!
First Top Thrill Dragster train of 2011!
Rollbacks: 1st Triple Rollback of 2009!

Some kids today, probly around 13 or 14 were talking about dragster while we were waiting for Mean Streak. They were talking about how fast it can go and the one kid said 'oh it goes 120 mph.' Then I hear his friend say, in the background, 'yeah but it depends on how many people are on it. It can get up to 2 or 300 mph.' haha
