CP 2002 very good guess....

1800 if I remember correctly also... Maybe 1600.. who knows.. my brain hurts..

MF 2000 - 269 laps

MF 2001 - ???????
I think it's listed at 1600, but then again they say takes 2:45 for one trip. I'd say both are overestimates.

In order for it to be 1600, that means 36 people would have to cycle through every 1:20.

How about this Millenium Force Junior? I think its a possibility I mean Why not? This will help us in the coaster race? I think we could see 4 new coasters 2 Ta2k 1CCI and a Millenium Force junior we could call ourselves the Thrill Park Of The World LOL!!!!

But I do Think Its Possible look how much Millenium Force Was and we can get all this for prolly like 20 million or even Cheaper!

CP WONT BE BEAT!!!!!!!

And a 3 train operation :).
I thought Rideman calculated it out once and even discusused how slowing down the lift may increase the cpacity. (not sure)

If they get a mini MF, they should call it Millie! :)

Thunder Canyon '00 (TC2K RULES, SNAKE DROOLS!)
Wildcat ATL '01

And the #1 sign it's the offseason is...

Any way, it is EXTREMELY unlikley that Cedar Point will be getting a Thrust Air. The way 2002 will go ridewise, I believe, will be a GCI or CCI woodie, and a wild mouse (possibly spinning cars), and flat rides. I am about 98% sure that Cedar Point will not get a TA2K.

Intamin2k, why are you so sure that they will not get it? We have several reasons here why they would.

I agree w/CPcyclone. I think the owner of S&S said that a thrust air doesnt cost all that much and IM thinking with a good quality CCI built along side with a TA2K, the price tag wouldn't be too huge. Im sorry, but CP does need a really good woodie. I think that's what they are going to do for 20002.
Heh heh, FireDragon - I think it would be pretty hard to predict what CP will be like in 18001 years!!! ;)

What happened to 2002 having 'filler rides'?

I mean why is everyone so sure that CP will get a coaster?!?!
Doesn't 'filler rides' mean attractions that arent huge rides like coasters?

I'm getting awefully tired of peopel wanting to win the "coaster war".. hehehe

How many times must it be said, I think some of you guys take it FAR more serious than CF does. Jeff's stated several times that CP and SFMM are not in competing markets.

When I was there in Kan I talked to a few people while there. The onyl ones who even heard of MF were the coaster people and that was like 3 people out of maybe 50 that I talked to in lines.

THERE WILL BE NO WOODEN FOR 2002.Intamin2k Im 98% sure your wrong. They will get a Thrustair or steel coaster no wood next year. Expect some nice flat rides as well.

Greg
I hope you guys are wrong...I would not want a TA2K. They just don't look that exciting. Sure, the launch and hill would be cool...but then....nothing. What's the point? As far as I'm concerned, a TA2K is pretty much a glorified flat ride. Now...would I ride it? Hell yeah. Would I have fun on it? Most definitely. Do I hope they build one? No way. CP NEEDS a good woodie, or a great sit-down looper (floorless or not). They don't need a gimmick ride.
