Okay well We have all heard rumors of Cedar Point getting a b&m prototype, well think about this.I called cp's info line and asked them to just give me alittle hint there like all I can say is boom"
Well Think about this Vekoma came out with the slc but B&M came out with the better inverted design, Now about this boom think If b&m came out with a better boomerang!!!! Boom sounds like a boomerang or a very explosive coaster!!!!!
Also expect alittle Millenium Force Junior I mean why not!! This would help the Coaster race!

If this is true, then perhaps my CCI hopes are fading away.
I've heard from several people that Cedar Fair is interested in a huge S&S TA2K. Now this would make sense if that's what they were talking about.
"Boom" could be the name of the ride if it were a S&S TA2K. Because of it's immense size, and because of the sound it makes while taking off.

Where have these B&M prototype rumors coming from? I have not heard of any of them. If I have said it once I have said it a million times:

Could you imagin that, a 400ft rollercoaster. Being launched up it and then speed down. I though Millennium Force was going to be the tallest in the park for a while but if this happens...man that would be tight

I'm sorry, but I really don't think those old ladies that answer the info lines have any more information on a new ride for 2002 than anyone on this message board. It could be that a supervisor told them to give that answer out when that particular question was asked though...

I have a feeling that Knott's Berry Farm will get the TA2K, and Cedar Point will get the CCI. That would make sense wouldn't it ?

Prototype hello Millenium Force pratically is with the elevator lift. And especially the height its first of it's kind. Knotts berry Farm Is more then likely getting a Intamin Impulse 300 feet tall because sfmm made it so kbf couldnt have a skycoaster within 100 miles so kbf will steal the impulse so sfmm wont get 1..

I have to agree with Dan, the TA2K makes sense to go with. I also want to know what thrill ride rumor came up with this B&M prototype everybody is talking about.
The only thing with the TA2K is rider capacity even if they built 2 how many riders can they get through in an hour? CP has always gone for rides with high ride capacity. That is why a boomerrang will never show up in the park.
I have to admit I'm lookin for some new timber to show up in the form of GCI or CCI.

I must stand by my own predictions that CP will spend 2002 doing more renovations to the park, boardwalk, waterfront, and come back in 2003 with the S/S TA2K On The waterfront

The next logical step for Knott's would be a hyper or giga coaster. Just because it is basic CF branding. I would lean towards the giga only becuase they would probably want something taller than Goliath.
Why do I think CP will get a Thrust Air? I like to call it common sense.
A. Cedar Fair and S&S seem to have a great working relationship.
B. Thrust Air can fit in a very small footprint, so it leads to any number of places it could be put in the park.
C. I think it is very economical, they could go as tall as MF at a fraction of the cost.
D. Its not what you know, its who you know.
