Commons or Cedars

Our AC worked very well, I usually had to turn it warmer before I could get out of bed in the morning because the room was so cold. But I just need a fan when I sleep. I'm weird like that.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I'm still shaking my head and laughing at the utter thoughtlessness of this comment. Sad, really.

I could reply with a commentary on the amount of closeted employees- but I'll refrain as this isn't the forum for such banter. That and there isn't the need to waste the space.

I'm gonna go ahead an comment on this, even though I never have or most likely never will work there. After living in the freshman dorms in college a few years back, none of these conditions sound overly different from college. Not so clean bathrooms, some really nasty aspects, some loud as h#$l people late at night, occasional fire alarm pranks, slow internet, etc. I experienced all this in my freshman year here at OSU. And in all honesty, it sounds BETTER than some of the off campus housing in the campus area. The landlords could care less around here. So basically, a dorm is a dorm, and these are dorms... it's kind of expected (even if it shouldn't have to be).

PS, I'm not trying to sound inconsiderate.. I know, it kinda sucks.. but you make due with what you're given, and you get (somewhat) used to it.

Having worked at Cedar Point before, and returning for 2009 as an area sup, I would recommend Commons. Cedars is cheap, but poorly maintained. Plus, as a homosexual, cedars tends to be a gay hangout/hook up spot. I never participated, but friends of mine did.

It all depends on what you want. Cedars is cheap, but commons is nicer.
