Coke looking likely

Word on the street is that Coke may have already won the contract for next year. I heard from a distributor that they did not renew with Pepsi. This isn't a high level person, but it seems plausible. If it's true, I'll be a happy man.

Well that has made my day better. I hope it happens and would be awesome.

I drink way to much of both products on a daily basis, but I just about never pay $3.50+ for a drink at CP so this won't really affect me. If they offered the unlimited wristband for $10 or less I'd probably do it on occasion.

What.....No......NO NO NO.
Thats it. Thats the last straw.
First Cedar point takes out the best ride of all time (ss) now their getting rid of pepsi.
Im afraid cedar point has lost my business for ever, now excuse me while i go make a "I hate cedar point" Facebook page.

Five years ago I would have been bummed. But now I drink water so it doesn't matter as to Coke/Pepsi. Though I am not a fan of Aquafina so the change would be good.

As long as all the regular food stands sell root beer I will be very happy

Sadface. :(

I'm currently not drinking soda, so the change doesn't really bother me. Now if I do decide to drink soda by next season, Coke Zero will be my friend!

I'm glad! I'd pick Coke over Pepsi any day.

So then hope that Fun Perks gets rolled out to all Cedar Fair parks (currently only at Kings Island). :)

I was holding out for Barcardi's in 2013!

If I am paying $3.50+ for a refreshment, it better have some kick in it.

Ocean Motion would have likely been the sponsored ride too!

I'm confident now that this is real. No idea if there will be any kind of announcement, unless they do some kind of "official beverage" of Cedar Fair or something.

This is just the man giving into the little guy, that's all this is.

I welcome the change!

I am kind of surprised Pepsi didn't offer a better deal to Cedar Fair to be their soft drink. It seems that all the large parks serve Coke. I don't drink caffeine pop anymore havn't in over 10 years so I guess it will be Sprite for me. I try not to drink too much pop here anyway.

I am glad they served Pepsi as long as they did and had Pepsi all the time I was working there because all the CP employee stores in the dorms sold Pepsi and the CP cafeteria sold Pepsi as well.

Given that soda's the worst bang for your buck in the park, I doubt I'll be too affected, but Coke is the superior product as I see it, so it's a welcome change.

The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.

^Unless you feel that pepsi is the superior product (which it is);)

hope they keep Pepsi but if cedar point changes to coke doesn't matter to me.

I prefer Pepsi but if they do go with Coke, I hope they get some of the Coke Freestyle machines.

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

Pepsi tastes a lot better than Coke... I really hope they keep Pepsi.
