CoasterMania 2018

I was under the impression Magnum Mania was the name for more than 3 years. Was not aware it was so short-lived.

Dang. Just noticed they pushed back Beer and BBQ a week later this year, so now it's not during Coastermania....

That's a shame :(

^Yeah, that's really heartbreaking. As someone who only makes a few trips per year, it was really awesome having those two coincide. We have a cabin at Lighthouse Point though, so we might just do our own Brew and BBQ... haha.

Can anyone help? Had a medical emergency and missed out on tickets before they sold out. Anyone have any that can no longer go. Any suggestions?

They may likely open up tickets soon with those that canceled. Last year they released around 20+ tickets in the last week or so. Just keep an eye on Tony's Twitter.

So how many tickets were/are available for Coastermania 2018?

The past couple years (since it became a paid event) it's been around 1200 I believe.

First post on here. So I bought my Mania ticket as soon as they went on sale, got one and have been super excited. Unfortunately, I have to cancel because I have other conflicts going on this weekend. I’m heartbroken honestly. How would I be able to sell my ticket to someone who wasn’t able to get one before they sold out? I’ll sell it cheaper than original price, I just don’t want it to go to waste.

I'm pretty sure tickets can't be transferred to others since your name is on the ticket and your club membership is verified ahead of time. Sorry, you probably just have to cut your losses.

This will be our first Coastermania, and the forecast looks pretty awful. Anyone have any experience with this event in the past with poor weather? Just trying to get an idea of what we can expect.

Doesn't look THAT bad. Believe me, it could get much worse. Hopefully it won't.

Honestly I can't really remember that bad of weather during Coastermania, at least since it's gone back to the single day event. But don't expect them to re-schedule the event or anything. It will go on, rain or shine. Which is not to say that the rides will be running. I think we'll be at the mercy of the weather. Hopefully the rain holds off for the ERT hours at least, so we only have to wait 1 hour for SV. ;)

Back in the day, when I started going to Coastermania - it would always rain at least once during the day. One year, we called it coaster-rain-ia, because it just poured all day long.

Currently only about a 30% chance of a scattered storm here in Toledo. Typical summer type weather. Ill take that. Stay away from weather.com. Not accurate at all more than a day or two out.

One of my friends who works at UPS in Akron just saw the shirts go through and sent me a picture of it. They look great this year. I'm not going to share a pic of it since that could get me or my friend in trouble.

We'll find out soon enough !

UPS better get them there on time !!!

If not, the butt hurt will be LEGENDARY!!

And alot of people would have to be made whole.
