I just booked at the KOA.... have been there before a few times for opening weekend and once for the 4th of July. Never had an issue there. Been a few years though. Has the place gone downhill?
It really didn't get bad until Saturday night. Prior to that it was really just the noise from the bikes, which doesn't really bother me especially because they're quieter than the trains. LOL Saturday it got really bad though. Even Saturday afternoon the behavior turned really lewd, and an f-bomb was flying every couple minutes. Doesn't really fly with me when there's young kids around. Then Saturday night they allowed a band to start playing at full volume at 2:00 am. I was livid, but complaints fell on deaf ears with the management. Fine by me, we just won't stay there anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like to have a good time just as much as anyone, but when your 45-50 years old, maybe try acting like an adult. I even heard reports of a mom who was staying in a tent with two younger kids having to sleep in her car with the doors locked because of guys harassing her and threatening things. Just not the atmosphere I've come to expect from any KOA campground.
JTaylor, to be fair, we had stayed at the KOA many times before that and never had a problem. We had never been there for CM though (and consequently during Bike Week). I think that's why we were so shocked at what they allowed to go on. The problem is during Bike Week, they basically advertise themselves as the "HQ for Bike Week" thus they allow the bikers to pretty much do whatever they want, and suspend their normal campgrounds standards of conduct. If I had a seasonal site there, I'd move out for that time period.

are [sic] we going to be allowed to stay on and reride during ERT if nobody if waiting for our seat since we are now paying for it?
What do people not understand about all normal park rules apply? If a ride has no wait and management wants to give us a treat, I will graciously accept the perk. This will be more fun if people would not feel so entitled.
^Honestly, while the park doesn't HAVE To do anything for us, allowing re-rides is a fairly trivial matter, especially at an ERT event where it's understood and nobody thinks it is unfair or cutting in line.
It's allowed at almost all Six Flags parks that I've been to (except on Titan at SFOT, where they make you get up and go around due to the ride's intensity)
Some CF parks allow it, too (CW and KD allowed me to if I remember correctly, although KD restricted you to only having one reride on I305 due to intensity - a.k.a go around every 2 rides.) KI is less strict than CP, but still hit-or-miss and more strict than CW or KD.
CP is hit-or-miss (more often "miss"), but some ERT events allow re-rides and I've often gotten re-rides on Mean Streak on a very dead day (which, for MS, is most days.)
While traditional "stay seated" re-rides are rare at CP, some rides open shortcuts at ERT - MF ERT will sometimes use the handicap gate between the unload and load when the line does not. I've also encountered being allowed through the gate from the exit to the loading platform on GK during some really empty ERT events. However, even at empty ERT events, CP seems reluctant to allow re-rides on Magnum, Maverick, etc.
My son and I got 6 consecutive rerides in the front row during last year's Raptor ERT in May. It does happen. This question was actually posed during a winter chill out that I attended. The point made was it costs CP the same amount to send the train out empty as it does full, so why not allow it during the slowest of slow times.
As I said, when the park offers re-rides, I graciously accept. What annoys me is the attitude of "I paid for this event, so re-rides better be included." Anyway, it is always nicer to get an unexpected perk then to expect and not get.
Never have gotten direct re-rides on any of the coasters, but I did on SkyHawk. Probably since it was right after a big downpour.

Check that guy's twitter out closely. I've noticed this guy (he is one of the single rider group I believe) incessantly beg Tony to "bring back the rigatoni" at the Coastermania lunch for whatever reason. Just looking at his replies to Tony's tweets, you can see he's part of the problem. As if paying $30 suddenly means the safe operation policies of each ride goes out the window... or else he'll be upset. And depending on the ride they usually will allow re rides once or twice. These people miss the point of this event... it's not just about the number of rides you can get in four hours of ERT, it's an exclusive event to hang out with your friends, meet new ones, and have a good time beyond going on a ride incessantly and considering a higher ride count than everyone else to be some sort of accomplishment.

Honestly, I'm looking more forward to the cruise than the ERT. I'll ride these coasters lots of times throughout the year, so the ERT isn't that big of a deal to me.

Please enlighten me on how staying in a seat and getting a re-ride jeopardizes anyone's safety. I've gotten numerous re-rides at CW, and I didn't see anyone keeling over or having a heart attack.
You're missing my point. They never let anyone re-ride on certain rides (MF, TTD). Sometimes ride crews on other rides like SkyHawk or Magnum won't let people re-ride even if there's nobody to take your seat. They used to be more strict on this policy a few years back and considered it more of a "safety issue" for whatever reason. Usually it's allowed on most rides now - but sometimes they limit it to two rides in a row or something before you have to get off and get back in line. I've re-ridden plenty of rides myself - I don't consider it a safety issue, but paying $30 for an event doesn't mandate that you can automatically re-ride anything during ERT as much as you want.

On the aubject of re-rides, the Blue Streak crew allowed a lot of them lay year. On a busy day, in which Blue Streak was overlooked for whatever reason, I went to BS, and got about 15 consecutive re-rides in just under an hour before the queue began to get a couple of people in it. For them, even if your seat was taken, they would allow you to change your seat and stay on the same train. That was one of my best memories of last year.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
I love it when I get that sort of ride experience. However when it gets a little busier and becomes a game of musical chairs, it completely ruins the experience.
Coastermania is now sold out:
