Coastermania 2016 info release

No not yet. I'm sure Tony will tweet it (this week?) and tickets will promptly sell out within hours.

I don't know if they would sell out that fast. Maybe within a week. It took WCO a week to sell out and that was a capacity of 800. The resort deals seem to be fixed now.

Sounds like this will be a great Coastermania with some improvements! I would have loved to go and feel the $30 is more than fair, but I've already committed to Holiwood Nights. Fortunately, I'll be at CP plenty of times throughout the season though.

Aaaaaand Breakers Express is sold out of rooms using the MANIA promo code... It would now be $359 for Thurs & Friday nights, compared to $208 with the promo.

I don't know if they would've sold out already. I remember last year we booked ours just about 2 weeks before and still got it. The website is being kind of finecky with the resort promo codes, I'd check back later to make sure.

Looks like Tony is getting bombarded on Twitter with questions about the name things. It appears that the names for the Coaster Clubs to verify get added when you register/print your tickets. I think this is confusing a lot of people who were probably thinking it would be somewhere in the registration or purchasing process.

I'm guessing a lot of rooms will open back up once they find that people don't have a club membership or the people never registered for the event.

I booked a room at Knights Inn on Cleveland using points for $40 back in November. Won't sleep in my car like I did last year.

If they sold out of rooms already, I would be very surprised. I don't remember that happening before. I want to make a reservation but I don't have the money to make the deposit this week.

I called the reservation center today. Breakers Express still has rooms for Thursday 6/2 but is 100% sold out (not just MANIA promo code) for Friday 6/3...

I'm sure the ones that used the code, they'll be removed once they are not verified/registered.... hopefully.

Why don't you book at Sandcastle? It was only about $10 more than Breakers express for both nights with the promo code and sleeps 6 people. I've never stayed there, but when I saw the price for Breakers Express for Friday it was a no brainer.
