Last year they stopped on Saturday but the way promos were worded back in September it looked like the indoor haunts would go all the way to the 1st this year. A quick look on the site today and it deosn't seem to specifically state one way or the other although I noticed Nov. 1st is not showing up on the calendar on the haunt page.
Suddenly a couple spots became available for last rides! So I am thinking there must be a procedure to cancel your ticket?
The reason I ask is because I was able to secure rides on 2 different coasters with my pass while trying to get 2 spots on the same ride for my daughter and me. I would like to give one up so someone else has a chance but I am unsure how to do that.
And I am still holding out hope that another maverick spot opens up!

Ah thank you for clearing that up. I was sitting here looking like "really?"
Man, if only you had seen the last few years. It was brutal. Getting a last ride on something is cool and all, especially if you're doing it to celebrate someone recovering from a heart attack or something like we did with a friend one year before it became "THE" thing - but that was one of the few times I ever did anything like that.
Honestly, I just don't care all that much. I mean, I'll take my last Maverick ride some time during the day on Sunday - there's no need for me to scramble to get the dead last train - it's just not worth the hassles, the glares, being spit at, threatened, etc..
That is so extreme, and I wouldn't put it past some of those people being that rude. Sorry that happened to you. Fortunately enough, I witnessed the last 5 years on closing day for the last ride on many different rides and I didn't see anything like that. At least they're doing something about it to make it less of a hassle.

Its funny seeing all of the single riders mad on FB because they didn't sign up for their favorite ride in time.
Yes, it would be hilarious if all the rude, pushy people of previous seasons out to get the last ride are shut out because of the online reservations. True justice.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
If I can get there this weekend, I want to be sure to compliment and thank some of the fine, hard working, individuals and ride crews for making my visits enjoyable. My son and I are regulars on Blue Streak, Iron Dragon, Gemini, Mine Ride, Dodgem, Troika, Matterhorn, Himilaya among others. I have seen workers hustle, accomodate customers, be helpful, be entertaining. I have seen workers endure extreme weather, undeserved verbal abuse, and understaffed crews. I realize this is their "job", but I feel a word of encouragement and thanks is in order. If I get a "last ride", which for me would be Sunday evening, I will try to pass along my thoughts to them.
Have a great winter!
