Sweet! Never been for closing day, but planning to this year. Will have to figure out our pass numbers and sign up..
Just a question if anyone knows.. If say we sign up for Maverick, and it happens to be down.... will they put us on to a different ride, or just too bad, so sad, no last ride?!
Pretty interested to check out all the cheap merch, it;d be nice to get something without paying arms and legs for it!
This seems like a great event. I remember they did something similar last year minus the last ride reservations. Can someone who went last year tell me how it went? I never made it out there for closing day. Were there a lot of people?
Just signed up for a last ride on Raptor. Only Raptor and Rougarou were still available, GK, MF, and Maverick were 'Sold Out'
Man, Magnum is always first and last every season. But I almost always work opening day and closing day anyways, so it's just a personal schedule for me.
What a shame they "sell out" so fast... still a pretty cool addition though. Guess I'll be riding Rougarou.
This year's food deals aren't anywhere near as good as last year. Guess I'll be taking the cooler after all and just splurging for the funnel cake. We ate in park all of closing day last year. My last ride is normally Blue Streak. I got last train last year by marathonning it for the last half hour.

Closing day last year wasn't too crowded. Weather was on the chilly side, but not unbearable. The longest line I waited in was actually for a $1 cheeseburger.

CP did the 'last ride' of the season thing for Maverick in 2007. The group I was with(the 4 of us) got the last public train of the season on Maverick. There was a group with a CP employee at the entrance. Don't know who the group was or their affiliation, They rode after we exited.

So depressed I didn't sign up in time for a last ride :( oh well. Maybe I'll marathon a less popular coaster that I still hold dear to my heart and get last ride on that.

"Have a great rest of your day at Cedar Point, America's Roller Coast. Ride on."
My daughter & I got our last ride vouchers for MF thank-goodness!! It'll be a tough weekend fighting crowds due to it being the last Haunt weekend, even on 11/1. We're very thankful, weather permitting, we'll savor our last ride of season on MF!
Keep passing the fun along!
No...
It's free to register if you have a pass. Pass holders, by and large, are the only ones who care about the "last train". From the amount of fights and drama that happened in years past with the last train, this seems like a good way to head that off.
Shhhhhh... Don't give them any ideas like 'Last Train Plus' passes
New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus
I'm actually surprised they didn't charge money for those.

Ah thank you for clearing that up. I was sitting here looking like "really?"
Thabto, I'm with you on that.
I'm sort of curious how many 'last rides' were issued per coaster. Any thoughts? I'm just happy we got them!

I would think as many seats as there are in one train if it is truly the last ride of the season for that particular coaster. Unless they mean your last ride then there's some wiggle room.
It's sure to be a fun time, either way! I'm guessing the crowds will be heavy this year as indoor haunts are open closing day. That prompted me to splurge and get room @ Breakers for Saturday night. That allows us plenty of time to getting 'lasts' in, lol. I'd love meet some of you some day!
Keep passing the fun along!
