Indeed, $46 for three to eat is much more palatable than $20 for one to eat.
Still, from what I've heard of their fries, I'm in no hurry. Maybe I'll just swing by Kevinj's for an order. ;)

I'm with Walt. In fact, before tip our bill was $37. That was a cheese steak, the buffalo chicken sandwich, a Boston Lager, a Cherry Coke and an order of Crab Fries, which, again, comes in a big bucket. I don't see how that's unreasonable for 2 people.
Now, don't get me wrong, the Crab Fries are a little overrated. The seasoning is OK, but the cheese was delicious. I probably wouldn't order it again though.
And it was still far better quality than Applebee's. Or Logan's.
I looked at the menu online for the original restaurant. Is there any seafood on the CP location menu other than a lobster pizza?

Seafood items at CP location include: Crab Dip & Chips, Fried Calamari, Fried Shrimp, Lisa’s Blonde Lobster Pie, Lobster Philly Cheesesteak

Did the Crab dip last night, it was..decent.
10 bucks, eh hurt a little, but me and Lindz split it and was an ample plate for two. I have had better crab dips, but it wasn't bad

Were these totals including tip?
It'd be nice if you could just get a whatever without having to drop 15-20% more on a tip, for those who would be happy as a clam not having to deal with a server.
I had some C&P's the other day and thought it was fine. That Sandwich was HUGE and fine for the price in my opinion.

I absolutely agree with you on this one! The Daily Grille was a much better place! The food is the same price, but the quality is far below average. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and it was out in like 3 minutes. And all of the food at our table came out separately at different times. It was awkward. I should have been suspicious when they didn't ask me how I would like my burger cooked. I think the burger is precooked and then they simply microwave it after you order it. It was dry and had a funky taste to it. It didn't taste like ground beef. The bun was rather large and dry and had a powered coating on it. I could only eat half of my burger because it was so displeasing to the palate. I am willing to pay $ 10.00 for a burger, but please make sure it is grilled and not microwaved. I should have suspected something when we walked in at lunch time and place was empty. I wish I would have taken your advice. I even gave the other half to my 17 year old son who eats anything and after he took one bite, he shook his head and said, "no thanks!" The only thing that made the experience worthwhile was the $ 8.00 overpriced Bud Light 12 ounce draft, but at least that tasted good!
I know this is a little off topic but are there TVs in Chickies and Pete's? We're going to Cedar Point Thursday and hope to watch the NBA draft somewhere while there.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
When I was there in May they had the TV's working with ESPN on. Can't remember if the projectors were working because I was sitting at the bar.

Bud Light..tasted...Good?
I don't mind some light beers, especially when tailgating and day drinking for concerts and events, but I absolutely can not stand Bud Light. It's way too sweet, and I don't like the resulting headache from it, either.
Pricing wise Chickie's and Pete's is in line with what I would expect inside of park. The food portions are large, I typically eat a lot but did not finish the sandwich, or order of fries that my wife and I ordered. The quality of food was decent at best - fries, nothing special at all and I really do not understand the big deal about them. The cheese steak was good but I've had better at malls and ballparks so it was nothing to write home about either. Now that cheese sauce that they give you with the fries and sandwiches... awesome, but I love cheese sauce to begin with.
All in all I'd say try it to anyone who's never been there but it is not a place I'll be going back to anytime in the forseeable future. Famous Dave's and Friday's are much better alternatives.
I went to Chickie's and Pete's a few weeks ago with some buddies. I can understand the overrated sentiment - it doesn't seem nearly as good as the one at Dorney. The seasoning on the crab fries was pretty lightly applied. The TVs were pretty small for a sports bar.
And the bathroom situation was not rectified. We had the privilege of sitting right next to the doors. We saw several people walk by with a confused look on their faces. I even asked the waitress, "how bad is the bathroom situation honestly?" She said something along the lines of "if I had $100 for each time someone threw a fit over the bathroom, I could retire. I even had someone throw their pizza at me!"
She also gave somewhat of a legitimate excuse, although the situation might have existed pre-Chickie's and Pete's. She claimed the general public would come in and line up to the bathroom and block the kitchen.
^That seemed like a problem back when it was Game Day Grille. They should think about expanding the bathrooms a little for 2015.
That's the new thrill ride for 2015 ;)

I can't believe that bathroom issue is so bad with people... I mean, there are two large bathrooms nearby (by Raptor and under the arcade) a whole minute walk away from the place.
People are just really lazy, I suppose.

A sit down restaurant without a bathroom is not excusable, and people complaining about that does not make them lazy. Just because you can't imagine a scenario in which that setup would be problematic doesn't mean such scenarios don't exist.
Brandon
I don't know... In an amusement park, I don't really expect the same "bathroom standard" as what you will find with independent restaurants on the corner of an intersection. There are plenty of bathrooms nearby so I just don't see it being this huge issue people make it out to be.
Sure, they should have a bathroom... But is it really THAT big of a deal? Does Chick-Fil-A have one by Maverick? (I seriously don't know...) or every other single sit-down place in the park? I am guessing they don't. Please correct me if I am wrong.
