The leper from watts just stated what I have wanted at CP for years. A place dedicated to serving fresh fried/baked, etc. local seafood (i.e., perch) in all its wonderful variations.
It makes too much sense.

Shades, they serve cat also! But truthfully, I absolutely LOVE the smell of Panda Express while waiting in line for MF. (...)
Oddly enough, they have a place for that already, in Frontiertown right across from the Antique Cars. Ever wonder why it's called "The Cats Cafe"?

I agree Kevin J. It makes sense. It fits. It's local. It's fresh. Why on Earth would Cedar Fair do something that made sense with their food and beverage division? I bartended at Fridays at CP in 2009 and the place was an absolute train wreck (I actually wrote a screenplay about my summer there it was so effed up).
They should be able to feature local eats in all of their parks and perhaps spread them throughout the country if they are a big enough of a hit. I liked the addition of Pink's for a variety of reasons. Maybe they could have some of Cleveland and Detroit's more well known restaurants or even make quality versions of their own. How about a B Spot? It would be expensive at the park though. Hot Sauce Williams? There are many ideas and opportunities for them to improve their catering. They absolutely should be able to have a fresh fish place. It would be cost effective, good, possibly healthy if they had a steamer for the fish also. I have faith that Frenchy will do a better job than Kinzel with the food and hospitality divisions.

I'll never understand the lack of a National Coney Island at CP. It's got an very high level of local familiarity, as well as cheap-to-produce dishes that lend themselves well to quick service (for a sit-down restaurant).

I had never heard of it until reading your post and googling it 60 seconds ago. :)

I'd love a B Spot at the Point, and Michael Symon would probably be receptive to that idea since he has opened locations at Quicken Loans Arena, Browns Stadium and Horseshoe Casino.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
