I still don't understand why Cedar Point's own food is so terrible and they have to bring franchises in. It's not that hard to make decent food...

OMG, I had the most tasteless burger ever at Coasters. The fries were good, the bun, toppings, but the meat was utterly tasteless. Won't be going back. We had the platinum discount which is why we tried it but I still can't believe how much a family of four ended up being with discount. We're thinking of taking a cooler now. I still like the pizza, though, but we'll probably have to get individual slices, I think a pie is like $30.

Chic-fil-a is tasty but I guess if you eat there you might as well walk around with a big red A on your chest.

Pink's thus far seems to be a hit from my visits to Knott's and Cedar Point. It brings an iconic tourist destination to Ohio. It's still the Eastern most Pink's in the world. I hate waiting in line for an hour for a hot dog at the LA Pink's when a friend comes for a visit. It's much more tolerable at CP or Buena Park.

I just wasn't enamored with Knott's Chicken. I didn't have it in the restaurant at Knott's just the fast food take out window. The pie was awful. I like Knott's though. It has a Kennywoodlike charm to it and its a much better ran park than Magic Mountain.

I think Pinks is terrible. I waited in line for 30 minutes, the AC was broken, there were no tables inside or outside, and they messed up my order. Plus, it was tasteless.

The dog its self does not have a ton of flavor, but that's what all the toppings are for. :)

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I hadn't gone into coasters for years because it's too expensive. I too tired it this year using the pass discount which I figured would make costs more reasonable and I was still surprised at how exspenive it was even with the discount. I asked the cashier if she'd applied the discount and she in fact did. This place is supposed to be a diner not Mortons Steak House. I won't be back either.

That's why I always take the time to go to TGIFridays on the beach. It's air conditioned, the food and drinks are awesome (they make the best Arnold Palmers there), the prices are VERY reasonable, and the view is beautiful.

You know, Cedar Point is probably too far away from their base of operations for In-N-Out, but the same can't be said about Five Guys... wouldn't mind seeing one of those at the park

I feel like I'm missing something. I was completely underwhelmed by Five Guys.

Five Guys makes a very good basic burger and tasty fresh cut fries, nothing really gourmet or special, but just a very good burger. I agree, it would be a welcome replacement for Chick-Fil-A. Of course, if the park were to follow through on Matt Ouimet's plan for fresh, never frozen beef burgers, they could have a good substitue for Five Guys if they combine the fresh burgers with the existing CP fresh cut fries.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I found the fresh cut fries at CP to be hit or miss this season.

Sometimes, they were amazing.

Other times, they were undercooked (soggy) and other times they were not fresh (usually when the stand was not busy). Always, always go when it's busy!

The worst is when you get the platinum deal and they douse the one set of fries with chili/cheese. I get that on the side now. Otherwise, you have a wet soggy mess.

Five Guys already has a steep price for a burger and fry. Granted this burger and fry are better than your typical fast-food. That said, if Cedar Point "subway's" the Five Guy's price, wooohweeee! That is going to be one expensive burger!

First, Pinks is based in Cali.

Second, Five Guys serves Coke. That would work. :)

Chick fil a serves coke at all stand alone locations

I still see nothing wrong with Chick-Fil-A. I eat at places for the food, I couldn't care less about social stances. And it just so happens that CFA is the best food in the park.

Well it is belived to be gone since they took down all of the CFA signs, food, etc.

That still doesn't mean anything. They could just be renovating the place (again) as part of some kind of agreement in the contract. We won't know for sure if it's being replaced until some kind of announcement is made by the park before opening day.

Not sure if this location was listed on Chick-fil-a's website before, but it's not listed now.

I'll let everyone debate CFA while I continue to enjoy my Panda Express!

+1 to you! I'll take orange chicken and broccoli beef over fried chicken any day of the week! :)

I never had Panda Express until it came to the Point. The only day happier than the first day I had Panda at CP was when I discovered a Panda Express at Oakland Mall! +/- 100 miles closer to my house than CP, AND open year round.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
