Cedar Point's Underestimated Rides

^Thats a good one too, but I would add that Maxair beats it out for number 1 (PT is a solid #2, at least until Skyhawk has its ride cycle increased.)

The Power Tower is fun, but it's really lacking in certain areas. I rode the S&S Tower at SFOT and the launch is incredible. It launches you very powerfully and pulls you down from the launch very fast and you get an intense amount of ejector air that seems to last forever. This was a combo-ride that combined both the launch and drop experiences. I don't know what it was, but after riding that, the space shot at CP seemed to lack any airtime whatsoever.

TedFuzz. No longer manually signing posts. Too bad. =(

I regret saying Wildcat is smoother than Millennuim Force!!! Oops, oh well. There is some rides like Dragster that I ride in the night for that reason exactly because, well personally I think that Dragster is a one-trick pony. But at night, I'll wait 1.5hr plus for Dragster because its extremely fun to beat the crap outta the little bugs that get slammed up against your shirt of sliced in half foinf through your teeth.

Another ride I founf quite suprisingly (sp) is Wave Swinger. It pulls a great amount of G's and after seeing that Youtube video of a Yo-Yo like that in Japan being crushed down to the ground just makes it all the more fun to ride :)

I also like distaster transport but it sports a line on a busy day that is comprable to MF and TTD. I do not want to wait an hour for that ride which happens a lot as it is a family favorite and it is hard to tell how long the line actually is.

The green power tower is the only ride in the park I am too affraid to go on.

I'm going out to get some air.

I cant do Pirate Ships. They are the only ride that makes me queasy, I can do Chaos, Scramblers, Frisbees, Power Surges, Enterprises you name it but not a Pirate Ship (but yet I have no problems with Rainbows, go figure.)

I think the Mean Streak is underestimated. It is a great coaster and a good addition to Cedar Point's coaster line up.

I think so too Sarah but sadly I think we are in the minority. Maybe if they fix MS a little it will work for all :)

I agree.. The Disaster Transport line has been crazy everytime I visit this year. I noticed that this year the employees there have been making the guests go crazy fast getting on the train, which makes the line go way quicker. So while it looks long, it moves fast

That yo yo ride in Japan almost made me cry!!! I'm serious! :(

Skyscraper IS the best ride in the park, though not many people agree because they're too scraed to ride......:)

I also think that DT is made fun of too much on this forum, and we all should respect it for what it is and that I like to ride it all the time. In fact, I was actually upset when I went this friday to the park and knew it was closed and got in line for Troika and just stared up at it untill we boarded the ride.

A person died in that accident though ( I think) which makes it less of a rush and sort of depressing.

Jugga or cpfreak, one of you needs to enlighten me about the film reference. I'm not getting it and being left out makes me cry.

On another note I think that the wave swinger is the most terrorfying ride in the whole park.

I agree with you! I am terrified of heights, but I love MF and Magnum. My sister wanted to ride Wave Swinger, and I was chickening out. Until I saw a bunch of little kids run from the exit to the entrance. So I thought, what the heck...it can't be that bad.

Boy was I wrong. The whole time I just wanted that ride to be over with! I am glad that I sat on the inside, and not the outside. Because the outside goes even higher. And it didn't help that those little seats didn't seem very sturdy at all.

What happened to that ride in Japan? I am on a friend's computer and they are very picky about viruses. So for the fear of catching a virus, I have been limiting myself to links and websites that I know doesn't have them. You tube is too iffy for me.

one question, how is power tower considered a "flat" ? LOL

The ride fell down entirely while it was in operation and it basically fell onto the people on it. A small child took a nasty looking tumble. Another person was killed to my understanding.

Oh, thanks mermaidsair. That is very sad. :( That's just one more reason why I shouldn't feel safe on Wave Swinger.

I do not know where I read someone died. I can not find it now but I remember reading that. It was not the boy who got hurt in the video. I could be wrong but I think it was an elderly lady.

Test rides on shot side of Power Tower deliver incredible air. I miss those.

Havent you ever played RCT? If RCT classifies it as a flat ("Thrill Ride",) its a flat ;).
