A B&M would be very cool. I honestly have no idea whatsoever about any location. That park seems very full. Maybe something along the beach? That's about the only place I could think of, but I honestly don't know how much room there is over there, if there would even be enough for a coaster.

Well just about all of us have heard about the turnpike car area rumors and IMO I really can see that happening. Although, if it is a B&M, I dont know how I like the idea of one B&M (Raptor) right by a new one.
^ Thank you! I said the same thing in a different topic and nobody there felt the same HAHA. I just hope they put a good ride in that area which will attract more people to that area so Blue Streak gets more attention back there!
Very few people outside of the completely insignificant enthusiast community would recognize two coasters in close proximity as being from the same manufacturer. An even smaller number of people would care.

Are the three people on Blue Streak's crew? I can't imagine the noise of being surrounded by two B&M's. Although, I love the B&M roar. <3

Funny there would be an issue of 2 B&M coasters next to each other when we already have a newer coaster next to an older one from the same manufacturer (any guesses?:)).
And I'm better the public wouldn't know or care about 2 coasters sharing similar track and support structures being close to each other anyway. It definitely seems like a moot point.

Since TTD 120mph edited his post, mine makes less sense. But i'm gonna leave it here. It's the principal of the thing. :)

Wicked Twister (newer) next to Disaster Transport (old). Both from Intamin.

I also would add that if it was possible and if there was room next to Mantis, which area would you choose? If you put a Floorless next to Mantis, then those two would be more similar to each other. In this case, since the rumor is the Turnpike cars area, and being next to Raptor, I'm sure the public won't care. The reason for this is because Raptor is an Inverted Roller Coaster compared to whatever the new roller coaster will be offer different ride experiences.
Truthfully, I don't care what goes where. I just thought a different location would be better for a new B&M but ehhh. Anyways, I just hope it isn't a red or yellow coaster :)
He said in the first line "IF there was room next to Mantis..." I had to look at it twice to understand too!

I have to agree, although I would like a coaster with a color scheme like Tatsu at SFMM. The orange supports with yellow track and red rails look nice. Id be in favor of any coaster with orange in it. No cedar point coaster has Orange in it and the last thing we need is a coaster with red or yellow.

Well... there is room... I hate to say it, but if you fill in the lagoons there's a whole lot of space to work with to build a good size coaster. Closing PWE is step one for filling them in.

Well, except for the big Moly Orange tracked coaster in the back of the park.

I'm pretty sure Maverick is red? - Iron Dragon has orange supports.
As far as paint jobs go, Mantis' is my favorite, by far. I love the use of primaries and how it really doesn't overuse the already overused color of red.
That being said, I think it'd be cool to see the use of secondary colors (purple, green and orange). Would break away from the traditional reds (Iron Dragon, Maverick, Magnum) and blues (Millennium, Corkscrew) that Cedar Point seems to favor.
