The video from CP was painful to watch. I think they should just stick to the press release.

EDIT: Yes, everyone, I get it. My opinion isn't shared by most. It isn't anything against Tony. It just isn't my style of announcement. *Shrugs*
I thought the family did an excellent job, very professional in fact. The video was well done. Good work Tony.
I'm pleased with the improvements for 2014. I always love to ride Surf Dog at Kings Island. The Lake Erie Eagles are a classic ride that Cedar Point could use more of. I'm looking forward to these rides. I still would like a dark ride sometime soon. Eventually we'll get one I hope.
The only thing with the family stuff for me was their enthusiasm..at 0700 in the morning, with no caffiene yet at my work desk...didn't fly with me haha
However it was nice to see someone else have a chance to do the job of letting the world know.
One question remains unclear however, asphalt going or staying? :)
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
I liked the announcement, I was expecting to wait until the afternoon to find out what's going on next year, it was a nice morning surprise... and the video was pretty good too.
Pipe Scream looks like it will fit nicely in the area. I rode the one similar to it at Kings Island, and I was really impressed with it.. Can't wait to try the new one at Cedar Point.
Lake Erie Eagles, I have never ridden a ride like that. I am just worried about how slow of load times it may have, and how many people will just walk by it because of long lines.
Also, isn't there about 3- 5 kiddy rides that will be removed or re-located to accomodate the 2 new rides?
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
Tony, the production of the video was fine. You did well. It just felt forced to me to use a family to announce the new rides as their actions just didn't seem genuine to me. I understand you need to have them act a certain way because of the type of attractions you are announcing. It just seems odd to me. Regardless, it is only my opinion. Clearly, there are many that love it, so I wouldn't stress about it. :)
The energy put into bitching and moaning about things that ultimately don't matter very much knows no bounds.
