I am still a bit confused by the large above water concrete area between the island rocks and the island pool... The rendering showed an island in this area and I understand that it was just a rendering, but i dont get a bank of vertical rocks coming out of a concrete pad unless something else is going to be put there ( I am hoping anyway).
On the contrary jo linn, it has a lot to do with STR. ;)

^And yet your posting of that pic has done nothing to help cedarmans original quandry of how to post a picture from the web cam to this forum.
I am still thinking that something has to go in one of the three areas of high visibility that all line up for both riders of STR and WWL ... raised concrete area, open dirt area between the island pool and the WWL moat and the dirt area just left of the station exit...
This might also explain the delay in getting the stairs on the station side of the bridge built already.
C'mon Tony, that stupid plastic horse has to go somewhere.....stop holdin' out!
You guys are over complicating this "Posting photos to the website" thing. The easiest course of action to do so would be to follow these easy to follow steps.
1. Right Click on Image
2. Select "Save Image As..." (Firefox and Chrome)
or "Save Picture As..." (Internet Explorer)
3. Select a destination to save image then "Save"
4. Upload Photo to a Hosting Site
examples:

5. "Copy" the URL of the image after it is Uploaded
6. "Paste" URL to your favorite website

Actually I proved that what I described can be done. That picture is proof. :)
And your right Schuyler, that's the way to go. I'm still stuck in XP that I forgot I now have Windows 7 and that's how to do it now. :P

With firefox and chrome you can just drag the picture to your desktop. Which I think is better because its just the picture and not a screenshot of your whole desktop.
and yet your picture did nothing to further the project or help the dude that didnt know how or show something that a link to the actual live web cam wouldn't have done better....
as for proving it can be done.... im sure NASA needs help...
You really are missing the point. We can only describe and show a result. Here's the steps and here's the result. We can't physically go to his house and show him. He asked, we responded and you just wanted to antagonize. You're not helping either by furthering this negativity.
Just let it go. We're not taking up dozens of pages here. We will get back to talking only about STR sooner than you think. So if you can't offer advice then don't comment. Heck, you seemed to be doing fine until it seems to me that this talk got to you (why idk). We're still talking about STR here so there's no need for this. Just stick to STR and we can all get along.
So in light of that, I cant wait to see some pictures of the now filled reservoir.

frankly, if you look at his statement, I dont think he even asked....
and then you began to circumlocute a solution to his quandary while not providing any real solution .
as for discussion of the ride I have offered up several opinions about future aspects of the ride that have yet to be commented on in an attempt to bring out new info from Tony and the powers that be as apposed to where to find the print screen button
Circumlocute - are four syllable words allowed on this website?
Btw, I agree with your comment on that island rock pad. I was assuming it would be covered with water once the pool is filled.
Ok, you're right he didn't directly ask....I'll admit it. But the discussion led to it regardless and this seemed to really get your proverbial goat. So let's all just get over it and be merry. I wasn't trying to strike a chord in ya with my earlier posts (why I put :)'s and ;)'s).....but they seemed to do it and I apologize. You've made your point and we have a sufficient number of posts that offer advice as to how to get a screen shot here.
And as for your opinions that have yet to be commented on, he will answer as many of our (including your) questions as he or anyone else can without giving too much away (which he has stated before). Just be patient and all will be revealed in 27 days. I've heard that there's more to this ride than what we're seeing so I'm just as anxious as anyone else here.

Technology-related and other assorted humor have been popping up and derailing threads around here for as long as I can remember (6 years of posting and lurking for me). That's just how the discussions go around here. When we've had our fun, things get back to normal. However, there's been some humor missing around here that I do miss reading though...
As for STR talk, the rock work looks pretty decent, although it will need more landscaping than what I get the impression is going to happen to really make it look the best that it could be (hint, it won't because it would involve actually going at the theming angle seriously). I'll be interested to see if they dress up the tunnel as well. There's not extra room in there for props, as the walls are right at the edge of the flume walls it looks like, so I'm not holding out hope in that area. The ride itself looks nicely executed, however, and I like the minimal structure (yes, I realize its just two lifts). Once trees they plant are grown in in about 10-15 years, it should look very nice tucked in back there.
Looks like they've got all their coconuts standing in a row. Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head! Quite a lovely bunch, as well. ;)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
At least the theming we have is leaps and bounds better than this.;)

Wow is that the station for Pilgrims Plunge? And I'm referring to the big building on the right of the picture.
Yes it is. It does look very well done. Hopefully I'll get a chance to get on it this year.
