Cedar Point 2007. Here's the latest.

Those of you complaining about restaurant chains, think about this. I went to Geauga Lake (Six Flags over Ohio at the time) and the Cleveland Zoo one year. They both had several chain restaurants including McDonalds and Pizza Hut.

I'm not quite sure what that means.

Because they did it, it's OK?

No one's disputing that other parks have chain restaurants, I believe the point is that chains are not always the best answer.

Yes many parks have chains. I never really liked the idea of chains in an amusement park or ballpark. I like that you can get food that is unique to that venue. That is just my opinion. If I want McDonalds it's available to me a half dozen times on the way to CP. It usually costs less outside the park. That being said, I do understand why people would want chains. There is comfort in the familiar. No question. Go to any mall food court, out of all the choices who has the longest lines? Always McDonalds, then maybe Taco Bell and Sakkio depending on the mall. People know what to expect from these places. The lesser known stands have short lines or no line. CP has plenty of their own restaurants so, there is room for a chain or two. The prices for food will always be higher at a park, chain or no chain, you know that going in.
